10th Note: Professional Treatment

If you're my man, I want you to myself.

I'm crazy over you! Over you, only you.

"Marco, run the test again. I'll fix the arm." I ordered my chief engineer. No one was around the laboratory anymore. Everyone in the team left and Marco and I decided to spend another few hours trying to make our new invention work. I grabbed the screwdriver and began testing the fingers, tightening then loosening the screw until the fingers began to flex and move with ease.

"Attaching wires and microchips." I said to the recorder we had with us. Marco ran to my side and helped me with it. Sweat broke on my forehead just doing this small and yet tedious work we had. Once we were done, we both sighed in relief knowing we did it. We have been doing this part for hours now only to fail multiple times. And now, no smoke or alarms were going out of the robot letting me know it has accepted the installation.

"Please work." Marco prayed as he went to the other side of the lab to where the computer was to restart and rerun the program again.

"Systems are updated for the changes. This is Test 107. ERY Program." Marcos spoke to the recorder. I rushed to where he was, closing the door behind me and we watched on the other side of the laboratory on the huge panel of heavily protected glass panels.

"Starting the test in 3, 2, 1." I spoke and then Marco pressed the enter key of the computer and the robot came to life. We both waited in anticipation, silently praying this project will be successful. We're creating a self- sustaining eco-friendly robot that would help farmers with their crops. It could detect which would be the best for the crops; soil, sunlight and water. It could decide what to do with the crops in order to maintain their quality. It could produce whatever the plant needed. That was our goal. I clutched my fingers together, holding on to a prayer.

"Please please please work." Marco mumbled watching the robot beginning to stand up.

"Plant 1." Marco spoke as the robot approached the table full of healthy cabbages growing on the huge white rectangular box. Our eyes darted from the robot and then the computer.

"Everything is good so far." Marco spoke again. The robot began scanning the cabbages in a quick laser-point scanning system. In just a second, it sent its results.

"Plants are in good condition." It spoke in this human-like male voice in a baritone pitch.

"Next plant now, ma'am." Marco spoke and I nodded at him before we watched the robot take notice of the dehydrated wheat plantation. It quickly scanned again before it beeped, letting us know it detected something.

"Hydro Program is needed." It began to drill on the plantation before it attached himself to the water supply we have provided near the plants. It began to suck the water supply and he began to add nourishment in the soil.

"Thank God! It worked!" I cried out while Marco huffed out a breath.

"Hydro Program is finished. Next scan will be in eight hours." It spoke with a positive beep. Then it moved to the next plantation. This one was the most challenging one. We purposely put potatoes in clay soil trying to test if it would detect it. It scanned the corn plantation before it gave out a loud beeping alarm with red lights flashing through its eyes.
