"Gotta end it tonight to start again
ready for a new fight l, time for a slaying"Living in Seoul could be not easy for a woman like me who has inexperienced with it. My Korean friend happily invited me to live in the apartment that her father owned it. A month ago, I was a fresh graduate from college back in my home country. My parents recommend me to learn the language in Seoul, South Korea in which I agree on it since they met my Korean friend: Tiffany or known her nickname Fany and her mother, Mrs. Kang. They agreed to take me to Seoul for school days and they offer me to work at their cafe. I really look forward to the year living here in Seoul. On the day before spring, The gates is open for another story of my Seoul Life to enter.

After arriving at my new empty apartment, Fany's father helps me along with his daughter carry few boxes to move in. "Thank you for the help for moving here. I look forward to work with you, Mr. and Mrs. Kang" I bowed to thank them. "Haha, it is a good honor to have you here. My daughter is very excited to meet and work together with you" mr.kang said. "I'll give you a tour of the workplace tonight! I'm very excited to work with you after you show your cafe skills" Fany said with her eyes sparkle. Honestly, back in my home country. I made a homemade mocha with frothy cream on it that suits on Fany's taste. After Fany's parents left to prepare home dinner, she helps me unpack and decorate a few things in my new bedroom. I looked at the window and the view of the city at night caught my attention. Yes, I actually love aesthetic things. The clothes, the weather, the music, the food, and things. It makes me want to do vlogging but I have no time for it. "Oh! I didn't know that you collect some stationery and bullet journalling too" Fany said as she opens my stationery packs. I turn to her and walk to the bed while watching her fascinating my stationery things from notebooks, colored materials, and papers to stickers and photos. I started to collect it since bujo (Bullet Journal) was very good these days. I was so happy that my new friend was interested in bullet journaling and stationeries like me. "Girl~ Here in Seoul, they're many prop shops in here. From Myeondong to Hongdae, everything was very interesting in here but some of the prices were very expensive and cheap. But it was actually fun to collect and use it" Fany explains that makes me curious and excited. "I look forward to what's the feeling that stores here in this dream city," I said while looking at the night city lights illuminating in the world. After dinner with her family at the dorm cafeteria, Fany impatiently grabs my hand and pull me outside and went to have a tour of her workplace. "I'll show you around the cafe where mom owns it and my workplace," she said as she starts to walk around with me. From the interior chairs and tables and cozy decors to the place where they have ordered. My eyes landed on these chocolate bars like devices. "What's this Fany? I haven't seen this before" I asked while holding the device curiously like a child. "This is a vibrating coaster. After the customer orders their fave foods here. I give this coaster to them since I will prepare something. Wanna try it?" she said as she gives one of it and instructs me to go to the customer area. I did what she said and wait for her since I saw her fumble in the kitchen making some dessert. I look around sitting like a child who curiously looks at the new place I was in. A few hours later, the coaster vibrates making me startled and went to the counter. "Is this how it works?" I asked in shock as she laughs at me while serving something sweets. "when the coaster vibrates it means that their order is ready. Oreo in a can?" she offered me one. The ice cream in a soda cup was so cool. Damn this could be amazing! I take the cup and went to the table. "Its good to be work here after my language class," I said while opening the lid and start to eat. "Your class was from 6:30 am to 12 noon right? Mom said that your working hours will be 1:30 pm to 6 pm so that you can study at night for classes" she explain to me about my working schedule. I feel so honor to them since they give me a place to live and work to earn for living for my parents. I'm actually a second and youngest child in my family back in the Philippines and I have a big brother who works in Japan. So, I will work hard with the earnest. "Thank you for this good offer for work and living home" I thank her as she simply smiles at me. "No problem sis. You show me good things a month ago. I'll look forward to having you my friend" Fany said in a warm tone. Fany she added while taking a bite. "Seoul was the first choice for me. I don't know what will be happened on it" I answered while looking on the window. Yes, I work very hard on my difficult life back in the Philippines. Tons of paperwork, thesis defense, submission projects, and more until one paper will be the biggest goal of all students to be claimed: The Diploma.
Now, everything is successful after a long year from the traditional battlefield of all students. "Say, Y/N, Do you have a boyfriend by a chance?" she asked in a joking way. "They say . . . Romance is dead for all of the times from heart skips to heartbreaks, But still meaningless" I answered straight to the point. "Sis, it might be difficult to have it here. You know~ some of them were party-goers and playboys and girls~ it will be damn sure hurt" she said. Romances or not, It's still part of our life in this world. We didn't know when will have a good time in this lifestyle. Well, I'll end this negativity to start positivity in this new place. What's more here in this city? Let's see.......
