*A few years later*
"Hisa! be careful!" A bell-like voice ran through the large, green clearing. The woman who the voice belonged to shot her hand out to the 5-year-old girl as she started falling forward.
Her little body crashed into the ground, staining her bright yellow dress and scrapping her hands and knees that she had put out in front of her small body to stop hurting herself badly. The little girl sat up quickly, her knees tucked in properly under her as she sniffled.
Tears pooled in her ash-gray eyes but she couldn't- wouldn't let them fall down her pink-tinted cheeks.
"I warned you, didn't I baby?" Hinata bent down to her daughter's level with a soft smile on her beautiful face. She gently grabbed Hisa's small, soft and currently scrapped hands in her long, slender ones.
"I'm sorry mama..." regret was in Hisa's eyes, but she kept her head bowed.
A slender finger lifted her chin and her mother's beautiful face appeared in Hisa's vision."It's ok baby. just be careful, hm?" Hinata patter the girls dark locked that were perfectly styled into a braid that went past her shoulders.
She passed a hand over the girl's injuries, letting the green glow of healing ninjutsu do its work.
"Did we miss something?" A deep but soft voice spoke out from the trees.
The sound of two distinct footsteps made their way towards the two girls sitting between the large clearing.
"Nope. Nothing much." Hinata smiled when she saw her husband and two other people enter through the trees. Her children.
"Here mom, the soda you asked for." A dark blue-haired teen who looked to be about 13 years old held a cold drink in his extended hand towards his mother.
"Thank you, Arato." Hinata took the drink and set it next to her, her eyes landing on the little girl in her husband's arms.
"Mommy!" The girl extended her hand in Hinata's direction, wanting to be in her arms.
Sasuke walked over to her and passed the girl to her mother. "Yes, Chisaki?" Hinata booped her cute button nose, making the girl giggle.
"I saw Eiichi when we were at the store!" She wildly swung her arms around to express her shock and happiness.
"Really now? Was his daddy or mommy with him?" Hinata asked as she patted her windblown black locks. Chisaki's eyes were full of curiosity and innocence. Hinata just hoped they stayed that way.
"Yeah! And I saw Sora and Riku too! They were so tall mommy!" Chisaki explained her encounter with Naruto and Sakura's family. The couple had three kids, soon to be four as Sakura was pregnant with their first daughter. Sora and Riku were 13 years old twins and Eiichi was six years old. Sakura was expected to deliver their daughter in just a few weeks now too.
Everyone had their lives together now. Ino and Sai had a son, Inojin. Choji and Karui had a Daughter. Shikamaru and Temari had a son and a daughter. Their other friends in faraway lands also had a significant other and kids, or just enjoyed their life with the freedom they had.
Hinata walked over to the rest of her family with Chisaki in her arms.
Sasuke was the most prominent sitting down, as he was the first one that could be spotted because of his height. Arato was laughing, his black eyes twinkling as Hisa played with his midnight blue hair. Hisa was on top of him, her ashy black eyes focused as she tried figuring out why her brother's hair stood up like a ducks backside. Her black hair was in her face, disturbing her.
Hinata sat down next to Sasuke, letting the two-year-old in her arms to slide down to her lap. Chisaki's blue hair rubbed on Hinatas face as the toddler slid down.
"Sorry mommy!" She muttered hastily, her white eyes holding a hurried look before she dashed off to her siblings.
Hinata watched them fondly, a smile curling her lips upwards.
"Enjoying the view?" An arm wrapped itself around her shoulders and pulled her closer.
"Yup." She giggled, cuddling into Sasuke's side.
The two looked at their children, each in their own thoughts.
"Thank you." Sasuke said suddenly, making Hinata turn her head towards him.
"Why?"
"For blessing me with such a beautiful life." He kissed her forehead, cupping her face in his large hands.
"You don't have to thank me, Sasuke. You deserve it all."
