Planning a suprise

I was excited. It was almost Amy's birthday and so me, Stampy,Sqaishey,Lee, and Netty was planning her surprise party. "She'll be coming home soon. We have to make this quick." Stampy announced to all of us. We all agreed with him and got to work. "The party will be in the clubhouse." Said Netty. "And we will have decorations all over the walls." She continued. "Squid, can you distract Amy and then bring her here when we're ready?" Lee asked me. "Yes." I replied. I don't like talking about it, but I think I might have a crush on Amy.
Just then, the door opened and Amy walked in. "There you guys are! I was looking for you every- wait, what are you doing here anyway?" Amy asked us. "Nothing" I said as I swiped the plans of the party off of the desk. She looked at me suspiciously "Okay... I'm gonna make dinner now, and I'll call you when it's done." Said Amy as she walked out. "Guys, we can't have another close call like that again." Said Sqaishey. We all agreed.
~The next day~
We were ready, I was just about to go and distract Amy while the others decorated the clubhouse. "Hi, Squid." Amy said. I could tell that something was bothering her. I sat down on her bed next to her. "Are you okay?" I asked her. "Do you think that everyone has forgotten my birthday?" Amy said. She looked so pretty, at that moment I just wanted to lean in and kiss her. But I decided no. It wasn't the right moment. "No, of course not. Come on, let's go to the Funland and ride the creeper coaster." I replied. "Okay. This will be fun." she agreed. As we were riding the creeper coaster, I just couldn't help but think about HTT. I noticed that he hasn't been around for a while, and I suppose that's a good thing, except what if he's up to something? I would promised myself that I would try to find out after the party. Or so it seemed.
