A New Beginning

      I grab the pasta that was on the top shelf and all the ingredients to make spaghetti. I put the pasta in the boiled water already seasoned with salt and let that cook for a few minutes. I looked at the clock on the wall to see it was 7:00  I quickly made the sauce and finally dinner was ready. I went to the cabinet took out three plates put some pasta and some sauce on top put the plates on the table. I looked at the clock it was going on 8 o'clock .

I walked to the staircase and yelled " Marc and Robert dinner is ready" I called looking up at the staircase
" Yes mom we be down in a minute!!" Robert called back
"Ok you guys got 2 secs to get down stairs now before I go up their" I called back I looked at the clock in the kitchen it was getting late.
" Ok times up" I said
Just as I was about to go up their I see Robert run down stairs with his little action figure of Batman.

"Ok mom I'm ready dinner" Robert said with his big blue eye staring back at me his blond hair a mess probably from playing.

"Robert where is your brother" I said in a low voice so tired from the day I had.
"Oh he is up stairs watching cartoons!" He said

"We was watching Batman:the animated series
where Batman Beats up the joker and...."

" Hold on sweetie  I will be right back" I said

I Huffed and begin going upstairs looking back at Robert down the stairs "go to the table I'll be down in a minute"

"Ok mom!" Robert happily walk to the kitchen

I'm so tired why don't Marc just listen to me I thought and I begin to walk upstairs to his room

As I approach the room I heard loud cheering and yelling I open the door their was Marc cheering on watching Batman flexing his little tiny muscles if he even had any.

I crossed my arms over my chested " Marc you need to come down stairs dinner is ready"

Marc put down his tiny arms his dark black hair a sweaty mess and his face turned into a frown I stared right into his beautiful green eyes

"Aww but mom"

"No buts get down stairs right now or no more Batman for a day young man" I said in a Stern voice so he had not room to argue.

He huffed and went down stairs I looked at him as he went by he look some much like his father I thought.

I came down stairs went to the fridge and poured some apple juice for Robert it is his favorite juice and poured some fruit punch for Marc his favorite drink. I walked over to the table place their drinks down and took my place at the table "ok before we eat let's say Grace" I said

I took their little hands in mine  and we closed our eyes and Bowed our heads " oh heavenly father thank you for this meal amen"
" AMEN!!!" Robert yelled
"AMEN TO!" Marc yelled after his bother

I laughed and we just ate our food " so how was school day Marc ?"

Marc Shrugged his shoulders " it was ok we played hide and seek today and even flew kites mommy it was so fun and so cool!"
" That sounds amazing"
" it was awesome!!"
I looked over at Robert " And your day?"

Robert looked like he could  not wait to Express how his day was " it was fun mammy we played with colors and we flew kites to!! We also played freeze tag and jump rope and even hanged man!"

"It sounds like you guys had so much fun" I said smiling

"Yeah mammy how was your day my teacher said that your job is very important and also kinda nasty" Robert said curious and unsure
