She was running, running away from her car, Miranda close behind. "RUN! Make it, Make it to the camp!" Her dad shouted. There was a big, creepy creature behind her and her family.
Anyway, She ran. Cursing and shouting - one more wrong thing, she didn't swear. Still, she ran and ran, her sister Miranda behind her. Oddly enough, the camp became clear in front of her eyes. All campers saw her and rushed towards her and Miranda. NOW WE ARE SAFE! She thought as she saw some campers. Percy, Annabeth and....and a swamp of brown hair, Travis.
They ran and bought her and Miranda in. "Dad! Dad!" She shouted and wailed as they dragged her in.
The creature, a Chimera, was slowly and steadily edging towards her father, who was just laying in front of the Chimera.
She shrieked when the monster lunged at her dad. Miranda was kicking her arms and legs, trying to get out of Percy's grip, but to no avail.
The Chimera slashed her dad as blood flowed everywhere, making Katie scream.......

Katie woke up to find herself in the hotel room. Her breathing was rigged and forced. Tears were cascading her face. She was Shaking, a lot.
It's nothing. Just a nightmare. She told herself.
But something was just not right. Her dad was safe and sound, back at her home. But demigods dreams were different, they were supposed to be something else, like reality or future glimpses. The thought of it being true gave Katie even more terrors and tears started flowing down, again.
She looked over the bed, where Travis was sleeping. She wanted someone to comfort her, someone to lull her to sleep. She was getting that feeling when she glanced at him.
She slowly stood up, taking three steps towards the bed.
She gently nudged Travis. He didn't wake up.
"Travis." She whispered. At this, he woke up. His eyes searched the room for the owner of the voice.
He saw Katie standing by the bed. She looked like she was trying. He sat up.
"What's wrong?" He asked, concerned. At this, a whimper left her mouth as more tears gathered in her emerald eyes.
"Dreams?" He murmured. Katie slowly nodded her head.
What she did next, surprised him.
She climbed on the bed and laid down next to him. Yes! His mortal enemy was laying right next to him!
He felt an idiotic knot in his heart {Cassandra Clare?} as he saw her, Katie Gardener so broken up. Her emerald eyes, that would always be full of life and glares (mind you they were dangerous, very!) were so dull and lifeless as she stared at him.
Not knowing what to do, he slowly started settling down beside her.
His mind clouded up, and all his next actions were his heart's doing.
He gently wrapped his arms around her and said some comforting words.
"It's going to be alright!" "Calm down." He even tried one of his awesome jokes.
But Katie just stared at the opposite wall, not moving or anything.
Travis decided to let it go, and he just stayed there silently. The only noise was Katie's occasional whimpers or their breathing.
They laid there for at least an hour. Neither of them slept. But Katie slowly started drifting to sleep. Travis watched her momentarily. How her brown hair framed her delicate face, with those beautiful emerald eyes that were so mesmerizing, her soft, pink lips fluttering as she left out a breath. She was a true beauty. And what Travis most liked about her was that she never ever used make-up or any beauty supplies. Okay, he was getting sidetracked!
Slowly, his eyes got heavy and he also went off to sleep...
With his Katie Gardener in his arms.
