Sakura stood in her apartment staring at her picture of team seven on her dresser. Her heart strings were being pulled in multiple different directions. Everyone that she loves and holds dear to her- they're going to see her as a traitor. Everything that she has worked for- it'll be for nothing. Everything is going to be placed on hold.

Was it even worth it?
Sakura sighed, placing more of her belongings in her bag. Of course he was. Knowing that Sasuke was safe: that was all everyone wanted right now. They'll learn to understand.

Someday.

Naruto will come to forgive her for not telling him.

Ino will be pissed. She wasn't too sure that Ino would forgive her.

Tsunade... she wasn't sure she would willingly look her in the eyes again.

She shifted her bag to her back, mentally reminding herself that there was no going back now. It was time to go meet Kakashi at the Jail, he had been working on trying to remove as many guards as he possibly could; dismissing them for the night or something along those lines. The mission had to appear that Sakura and Sasuke acted on their own. Kakashi would face more punishment than she would in aiding this plan. He was a vital role in getting them back in the village: someday.

Once Sakura closed the door to her house, she hesitated. This was going to be the last time I'll be home for a while. She had decided to keep the door unlocked. Hopefully one of her friends would lock it once the ambu raided her house, but she didn't want them to take out the door with everything that was happening. She wanted to also make it appear that she rushed to the jail, without really thinking about what was happening around her.

She sighed, taking a step forward away from her house. She felt like this step was mentally ripping her away from her village.

Kakashi took a step into Sasuke's cell. Sasuke's head rested against the stone wall. He didn't look up at Kakashi, making him think that Sasuke was possibly asleep.

"Isn't it a little late for a visit: Kakashi?" His voice muttered. His mood had grown dark since he was informed about his sentence. Kakashi was the one that told him after the council's decision was made.

Sasuke was angry; none of those bastards had the balls to tell me to my face that I was going to be killed? They were just going to make a decision that had a major impact on someone's life and just walk away from it? Pretend that they were not part of it?

He didn't need to tell anyone about his feelings towards everything; his point was made just by looking at him.

Sasuke lifted his head to meet eyes with Kakashi as he moved close enough to rest his hands against the bars of his cell. Kakashi could see the dark bags under Sasuke's onyx eyes, which looked darker than ever. Shackles were still placed on each of his limbs. Sasuke could move, just not very fast. Especially due to the fact that they would deplete him of his chakra.

"Have you been sleeping?" Kakashi asked, concerned for him. He was secretly wondering how much of a fight that Sasuke would be able to put up so he could escape.

"Not much..." Sasuke admitted, moving his gaze towards the stone wall again. "It's kind of hard to sleep... knowing this is my last night."

"Sakuras coming to see you."

Sasuke flinched, hesitating on what to say. Was he excited to see someone for the first time in weeks other than Kakashi? Or would it had been better for her to stay at home? To just remember him as what he was. "I thought I wasn't allowed visitors." Sasuke finally muttered, trying to find the right words to say. He wasn't sure how he felt about this yet.
