Part 5

"I have something for you"
Roman took something out of a bag Virgil hadn't realized he was carrying. It was a box. Virgil was breathless. Roman got him something? What? He gently took the box and unwrapped it. He took off the lid. There they were, his new set of headphones. "Thank you so much!" said Virgil happily. "That isn't it!" said Roman. "Huh?" questioned Virgil. Roman handed him another package. Smaller. Like paper. It was an envelope. Virgil accepted it gratefully. He opened the envelope, and pulled out what was inside. He couldn't believe his eyes. In his hand... were two tickets to My Chemical Romance's next concert! Virgil couldn't believe it. He hugged Roman hard. "ThankyousomuchRomanyouarethebestiwantedtogotothisforaverylongtimethankyouthankyouthankyou" said Virgil. Roman started laughing. "You probably already know it's three months away" stated Roman. "Mhm" said the shadowy bean. Just then, Roman noticed a piece of paper on the floor. He bent down and picked it up. It was a drawing. Of Roman, Logan and Patton. They were so happy. And in the corner of the drawing was Virgil. All alone. Crying. Wishing he could be like them. Deceit and Remus were beside him, grinning. Deceit had a snake wrapped around Virgil's arms. Roman noticed that in the drawing, Virgil's sleeves were up and there were little cuts. Roman gasped. He continued looking and realized there were larger cuts going up. Virgil snatched the drawing.
Silence.
"Virgil..."
"Get out."
"I'm trying to help you-"
"get out."
A monster seemed to be controlling him.
"OUT!"
Roman scurried out, But he was clutching the drawing. He had taken it back.
Virgil started shaking. He fell on the floor and began uncontrollably shaking. He was violently shaking everywhere. At the top of the room, a thick cloud of yellow smoke appeared. As the smoke cleared, Virgil could make out the silhouette of a person. A tall, slender person. The smoke cleared completely, and he could see it was Deceit. Deceit laughed. "Look at poor Virgil, squirming on the floor!" he cackled. Virgil could feel snakes start to wrap themselves around his ankles and wrists. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" screamed Virgil. Deceit laughed. "You know Virgil, you 'light sides' are a lot stronger than you think." announced Deceit. "What" asked Virgil. "You are the embodiment of anxiety. You have to power to make anyone and anything feel anxious. Each of you major iMpOrTaNt sides also have powers. You can control anyone's emotions. Make them feel or not feel anything you want. I want that."
Virgil was speechless.
He then had an idea.
He screamed. Deceit was not expecting that.
Logan, Emile, Remy, Roman and Patton came running. Remy threw open the door and they all ran into his room. "Oh no, not you, sis!" Remy growled. Roman glared. As the others distracted Deceit, Roman was slowly moving behind him. Roman drew his sword and slashed the back of Deceit's leg. Deceit cried out in pain and disappeared. So did the snakes. Roman ran to Virgil. "Areyouokaydidhehurtyouiswearifthatsnakelookinguglybastardtouchedyouiwillpeelhisscalesoffwithapairofpliers" said Roman. "What?" asked Virgil. Roman took a deep breath. "Areyouokaydidhehurtyouiswearifthatsnakelookinguglybastardtouchedyouiwillpeelhisscalesoffwithapairofpliers"
"Roman, say that again but slower"
"Are you okay did he hurt you I swear if that snake looking ugly bastard touched you I will peel his scales off with a pair of pliers"
Virgil laughed. "I'm okay." He looked up at the others. "Thanks guys, I don't know what he would have done to me if it wasn't for you guys" he turned to Remy. "You fabulous bitch" he said. Remy smiled. "It is my job to be fabulous, and I am naturally a bitch" he said, and everyone laughed. Soon they all left, apart from Roman. "Sooo.." began Virgil. "Wanna watch a movie?" he asked. "Yus!" said Roman. Virgil put in the princess and the frog.

Virgil's pov
Roman went back to his room, and I started drawing.
Now it's time I told you a secret.
