❅❅❅It was Friday. Little flakes of new snow had begun falling from the sky, their fragile bodies melting as soon as they met a surface. The sky, light gray and tinted with blue, was covered in little wisps of clouds.
Taehyung would've found it beautiful, but it was six in the morning and he was freezing his a*s off. "Namjoon," he groaned, clasping his friend's arm for warmth, "why didn't you tell me it was going to be negative fifty degrees?"
Namjoon just shrugged. "I did, but you were still passed out, hugging that pillow like your life depended on it."
"Shut up!" Taehyung screeched, snatching his hands away to punch Namjoon's stomach, "I have a hugging problem when I'm asleep, alright?"
Namjoon grinned cheekily, "Remember when you nearly strangled me-"
He was abruptly cut off by another punch.
A sharp clap followed, and a cheery voice bellowed, "Welcome, beloved, sleep-deprived college students!"
Ah, it's Hoseok, Taehyung realized, recognizing his friend's head of strawberry blonde hair.
"I'm sure you've all read the itinerary, but, since it's mandatory, I'll recite the necessities once more: This ski trip will be one week long. That means, my dears, seven days and six nights. Two to a cabin, no messing around-" he broke off his sentence with a suggestive wink, "and no going out past curfew. Do not damage ski equipment- unless they're yours, do whatever you want then- and be polite with the staff at all times." Hoseok swept a hand grandly to the buses, "Two to a seat! And remember, have fun and don't be horny!"
The crowd dispersed into their respective buses, and Taehyung pulled Namjoon along with him, excited smiles already forming on their faces.

"Attention, all! We've arrived, if you hadn't noticed, and I'm too lazy to take attendance so you all better be here." Seokjin announced, letting his eyes wander over the rows of students. "The bus better be empty in five minutes. That's five minutes, you hear? Anyone who's still on the bus after that will be packaged and shipped off to the government. Oh, and by the way, cabins fit two people! Yoongi will- Yoongi, wave, please,"
The mint-haired boy looked up from his phone with an uninterested expression, dismissively waving a hand. Seokjin nodded, satisfied, before continuing, "he will be waiting in the main lobby to give you the keys after you eat dinner and get organized into pairs. That'll be all."
"Who let him become the student supervisor?" Namjoon groaned, stirring awake on Taehyung's shoulder, "If we somehow get lost with him, we're going to die."
"What was that?" A voice asked sweetly from the aisle of the bus. Namjoon's eyes widened when he saw who it belonged to.
"S-Seokjin! I'm not- I wasn't-"
"He was," Taehyung interrupted, nodding his head seriously.
Seokjin just tilted his head, smile unwavering. "Yeah, Namjoon? We're all going to die, was it? Congrats, you've just earned yourself three days of cleaning duty."
"U-under what rule?" Namjoon sputtered.
"Disrespecting your supervisor." And with that, Seokjin walked away.
The first thing Taehyung did was laugh in Namjoon's face. "H-he. . . Oh my gosh that was hilarious!"
Namjoon glared at Taehyung and smacked him. "You ratted me out! That's going against everything on the best friend contract."
"Yeah, yeah, and so was making fun of me for my sleeping habits, and look at you," Taehyung pointed out.
Namjoon scoffed.
