jodi woke up to the loud chirping outside her window, wishing the bird that created the nest in the tree outside her room chose a couple trees to the right to raise their babies.

she stretched out her body, groaning while doing so before going limp. she reached out and unplugged her phone from the charger, looking at the new notifications she got while she was asleep.

she responded to everyone but cooper and pulled the blanket off her of body. she stood up and did one more stretch before leaving her bedroom.

she heard the microwave beep and furrowed her brows.

walking into the kitchen, she saw her brother pulling out a takeout container from the beeping machine.
"why are you eating chinese food at 11 in the morning?"

he looked back and saw the severe bed head she had and began cackling.

she rolled her eyes and took the white container from his hands.

"why?" he asked flatly.

"you're not eating chinese food for breakfast." she said while taking a pan from the drying rack.

"but it's already done." he whined as she dropped it in the trash.
jodi ignored him and turned on the burner. his daily regimen was already unhealthy with him staying up for sometimes days to keep a consistent posting schedule, the last thing his body needed was chinese food first thing in the morning.

after she got the ingredients out, she pulled out her phone and clicked on the facetime option under coopers contact. it only rang twice before she saw the blonde on her screen.

"sup bitch."

"back at you." she leaned her phone against the coffee machine so she could continue cooking.

"nice bed head." cooper commented to which she replied with her middle finger.

she cracked three eggs into the sizzling pan and sprinkled salt and pepper on them.
"can you make the bacon for me?" jodi turned to her brother who was sitting at the island behind her, occupied on his phone.

"um, sure." he finished his last text and closed his phone.

"oh shit, schlatt's there?" cooper asked and she looked at him with a raised brow.
"yeah?"

"well in that case, good morning gorgeous." he said to the girl with the wild hair.

jodi saw her brother stand next to her and nonchalantly hang up their call before placing a pan on the burner.
she laughed and hit his arm.

"i hate that kid." he said over the frying bacon.

"he's literally older than you."
"by a year." he responded with an attitude.

"you're older than me by a year and i don't call you a kid." she stated, reaching over him to answer coopers call.

"yeah because i would snap your limbs."

"what did i just interrupt?" cooper asked.

"me about to hit my brother with a frying pan."
