"thank you." the siblings said simultaneously to the uber driver as they got out of the car.
schlatt rolled jodis suitcase to her before he took his out.

as the car drove away, jodi looked to schlatt with a smirk.

"what?" he asked when he saw her smirk in the corner of his eye.

"was it just me or did that car smell like feet."
"bro i was just thinking that!"

jodi laughed, thankful she wasn't going crazy.

"like i'm still gonna rate him 5 stars but it smelled like a boys locker room in there."

after going through baggage and security, the two found empty seats and put their carry ons in them to save their spot while they got food.

"what do you want?" schlatt asked his sister as they aimlessly walk past the possible options.

she shrugged her shoulders causing schlatt to roll his eyes.
"real helpful."

"i'll get what you want, it doesn't matter."
"yeah well i asked you because i don't know what i want."

"you're so annoying." she mumbles making him scoff.

"love you too."

"just close your eyes and point in a direction. we'll eat wherever you point." jodi told him.

"alright just make sure i don't walk into anything."
"i don't think i will." she said under her breath even though he still heard her.

he looked over at her with a bored look.

"just fucking do it." she snapped.

"i hope i point at arby's." he mumbled but obliged.

jodi followed his finger and made contact with starbucks.

"starbucks." she announced, allowing him to open his eyes.

he sucked his teeth and dropped his arm in disappointment.

"i'm gonna have to get like 4 sandwiches just to be full." he complained.

"it was either that or pizza hut."

"who the fuck eats pizza hut at 11am?"
"says the one who eats chinese food for breakfast."

they walked into the coffee scented store and got into line.

"that's different." schlatt weakly replied.

jodi looked up at him.
"how?"

it was silent for a moment.

"soy sauce." he finally said, nodding his head proud of his defense.

"mmh, yes. soy sauce. the breakfast cuisine." jodi mocked.

"see! you understand."

they were up next to order, jodi getting an iced latte and a breakfast sandwich, schlatt getting a hot coffee and three of the same breakfast sandwiches.

jodi got her credit card out the quickest and handed it to the cashier.

"why would you do that?" schlatt asked defeated as he put his wallet back into his back pocket.

"your old man speed was apparent."
she quickly told the cashier her name and grabbed the receipt from him with a smile.

"i just got three fucking sandwiches."

"the deeds already done." jodi turned to him with a shit eating grin before going to sit down at one of the stools, getting out of the way for someone else to order.

"you wanna go to the convenient spot or just get that shit on the plane?" schlatt sat on one of the stools, joining his sister at the table.

"the convenient store. they up the price on the plane."

"surprised you care about prices when you just paid for my buffet." he teased.

"i don't see why you're complaining."

"oh i'm not. trust me i'm grateful. just didn't know i was rolling with daddy warbucks today."

she sarcastically laughed with an over joyous expression before dropping all emotion from her face.
"you're so funny."

schlatt brought his hand to his chest as if he been wounded.
"who pissed in your cereal?"

"i haven't had any cereal." she said.

"wow, i guess i'd be pissed if someone stole my cereal too." schlatt pushed.

as she brought her hand up to hit him, her name was callled out from one of the rushed baristas.

she pointed at him.
"you're lucky."

they grabbed their order and left, thankful for getting there when they did since it was beginning to become a bit crowded.

jodi led the way to the convenient store they previously passed, with schlatt trailing behind, trying to put the packets of sugar he had quickly grabbed into his paper bag.

she grabbed two waters from the refrigerated section, putting them under her arms and went over to the candy. she was staring at it, wondering what she was in the mood for before she felt her phone vibrate.

jodi placed her belongings on an empty counter so she could pull out her phone.

"um, can you get me two reese's? my hands are full."
