A rampaging knock woke the blonde up from her deep sleep. She glanced over to the other side of her bed seeing no one, in the place where Isaac typically resides.
She slowly sat up, and slipped on her slippers before wrapping a blanket around her body. She trudged down the stairs, nearly groaning due to how tired she was.
The teen opened the door slowly to see Isaac dead on the ground, blood soaking her welcome matt and concrete, "Isaac?" Her eyes nearly flew out of her head as she attempted to bend down to check on him but she was frozen in place.
"Nice trick you pulled the other night," Jennifer Blake walked into view, "Care to tell me how you did that?"
Aimee swallowed, "You tried to kill me," She accused, "You were going to kill me, and I was just suppose to let you?"
Jennifer laughed, "No silly, you were suppose to fight for it. Just like you fought for your friends, days ago."
Aimee looked between Isaac and Jennifer Blake, trying to hold back her tears, "What do you want from me?"
A smile so wicked grew on her face that it sent shivers down her spine, "I want you to join me, or I'm going to kill everyone you love. Starting with-," .
"Aimee," The girl jumped and glancing around not seeing Jennifer or a dead Isaac. Instead Isaac stood next to her, with a hand on her arm, "What are you doing?" He frowned, "It's like three in the morning."
She stood in front of an open door, letting cold air into the house. She wore her Pj's that revealed too much skin, and her feet were bare, "Isaac," She turned to him, "I think I'm losing my mind."
--
"So wait, there's a white box in your head?" He asked as the two sat in the living room.
Aimee sighed, "Yes, I'm not sure how it works but its slowly turning black."
"Not good," Isaac commented.
Aimee rolled her eyes, "The black represents dark magic, like the dark druid that is running around."
"And she's trying to gain you as an ally?"
"Yes."
"Do you know who it is? I'll go rip her throat out right now," Isaac watched her posture and listened to her heart beat.
"No," He noticed how she seemed to calm when saying it but her heart said something different, that she was lying, "She comes to me in dreams and threatens me. She's
provoking me to use dark magic."
Isaac sat back, "Have you?"
"Have I what?"
"Have you used dark magic?" The couple froze, Isaac asked it almost as a joke until he saw Aimee's demeanor change, "Are you serious?"
She took a deep breath, "The night Derek died, and on the bus to heal myself."
"It all makes sense now," He mumbled, "Your eyes weren't the normal green on the bus. It was for a second and I thought i was seeing things."
"I'm sorry, I couldn't let you all die," Aimee pulled her legs into her chest.
Isaac scooted closer to her, "It's okay, but we have to tell Scott. I'm sure he will understand."
Isaac laid down, pulling the blonde with him. He held her until her heart beat slowed and could hear her soft snores. She knew that as long as she was with Isaac that he would protect her, and that's what she feared the worst. She didn't want anyone to get hurt over her.
