"I-I know what you want. Just do it already."
His eyes widened from shock as he held you tight. Were you willing to give in? He opened his mouth as his fangs grew in, tilting your head, but he suddenly pulled himself away. He removed his arms from your body and backed slowly away from you. Everything about you was driving him crazy. He was losing his mind over you.
You quietly gasped as his arms left your body. I thought he was going to do it. Why didn't he? You were about to turn around to face him for the first time, but his hands landed on your shoulder, stopping you.
"Don't turn around." the stranger warned.
"I want to see you.."
"I'm afraid I've run out of time..."
"But, at least tell me your name-"
"Until we meet again, Y/N."
And with that, you felt a breeze past you and your hair flipped. He's gone. He left just like that, leaving you all alone. But, wait, how did he know your name? You don't recall ever meeting him but then again, you had no idea what he looked like, or his name. Even his name would have sufficed.
You huffed and decided to go back home before you'd get your ass beaten up by your own cousin. Arriving was easy, but once you went inside quietly, you saw Irene sitting there on the couch, staring off into nothing.
"Irene-"
"Will you always disobey me? Why are you coming home late?! Don't you know that there are vampires out at night searching for their next victims?! Are you trying to get yourself killed or WHAT?!" Irene scolded you, not bothering to even look at you in the eye.
Yes.
Yes, I am.
"I'm sorry for disobeying you. I promise not to do it again, really." You said, but she didn't find you sincere with your apology.
She sighed and turned off the lights. "Just go to bed and leave me alone."
You sat there in the cold living room all by yourself. You didn't like worrying Irene, but something about him made you so curious you'd risk your own life. Although you promised her you wouldn't be out later again, you knew damn well you were going to. And this was just the beginning.
***
The next few weeks went by slowly. Every night you came back into that neighborhood to see him, but he was nowhere to be found. Like he was only part of your imagination. You sucked in your breath. Every part of you just wanted to see him again.
"Hi, Y/N! So lovely to see you again.. for the second week in a row," Jimin chuckled. "Hot chocolate?"
You nodded your head and Jimin went to prepare your order. To your right, you saw Taehyung focused on making drinks and brushing his hair back casually.
You got to see him everyday, and same goes with Jimin since they both worked at the coffee shop you went to every evening.
But it was nice having some company even if they weren't by your side the whole day. You didn't have any friends at all ever since moving back to Seoul; You never really talked to anyone.
Just then, Taehyung settled down your hot chocolate in front of you and sat across from you. You were shocked since he's never taken the opportunity to sit across from you, but here he was. And with his own cup of hot chocolate.
"Hot chocolate's your favorite, huh?" he asked, giving you his boxy smile that suited him so well.
Wow, he's actually talking to me.
"Yeah, you?"
He nodded his head. "I couldn't help but notice you're here every evening."
You sighed, remembering why you even came to this coffee shop in the first place. But this place began to grow onto you so you came everyday, despite how lonely it felt.
"I like being here. It's peaceful." You said.
"I know right. I love coming here as well and once I heard they were hiring, I applied for a job right away and I got it. Do you work?" Taehyung asked you, but you didn't dare to meet his eyes. Those darn eyes made you curious; They made you want to stare at him. But that would come off as creepy, wouldn't it?
"Nope. I just moved back to Seoul about like... a month ago?" you recalled and he looked at you.
"Do you want a job? I can talk to the manager about it." Taehyung suggested, and you grew interest in working here.
What's the harm? You were here every evening and you began to watch how they worked here; It didn't seem that hard. It wouldn't hurt to work here... right?
And that would give you the exact excuse you needed. Working here meant you worked late, and working here meant you had a chance to see him on the way home.
"Yes, please." you said and he flashed you a smile.
"I'll be back."
A/N:
I would have made this chapter longer but things are escalating so I'll need to slow down writing :]
This chapter is a little lame but it's sorta like a filler 😌 We'll call it that. The next two chapters will be more interesting, I promise!
Please vote and comment and give me feedback about anything! I'm all open to ideas :) and I'll try to update every day
