The sun glistened into your room, disturbing you from your slumber. But you remember what you were looking forward to today and excitedly threw the blankets off of you. You quickly went to get ready and when you were done showering, you changed into a pair of jeans and your favorite oversized hoodie.

Today's the day.

The day you move back to Seoul after finishing high school in America due to your parents who had high expectations for you, and if you didn't meet them, you were punished.

Luckily, you saved up enough money for yourself to travel. You didn't need to worry about finding a place to stay because your older cousin invited you to stay over at her house for the meantime until you found your own place.

Your heart began to race rapidly and before you knew it, you were out of the house and on your way back home.

================================

You can't believe what laid out in front of your eyes. Home. Everything looked so different to you as you looked out the window. Soon enough, you'll arrive and that was what made you anxious. Your palms nervously began to sweat.

Can I just arrive already? Damn. You began to grow a little impatient.

But within a matter of minutes, you arrived and quickly and went to grab your belongings. You noticed how empty the area was and how the whole place radiated dark energy. It was quiet. Too quiet. This place wasn't at all like you remembered. Usually it was always crowded by people.

Suddenly, you see your older cousin, Irene, sitting patiently while she played games on her phone. You shook off the creepy thoughts.

"Ahem." You pretended to cough.

At first, Irene doesn't notice you and wonders who was speaking to her, and as she looks up, she realized it was you. Her eyes widened and she dropped her phone, not caring that it fell down.

"Oh my gosh, Y/N! I missed you so much!!!!!" Omg, you've gotten more prettier than I remembered." Irene complimented you and you smile widely.

You never really paid much attention to your looks before but after hearing her compliments, you felt somewhat more confident deep down.

"Kaja, let's go home."

Irene drove you two home. It took an hour but it was so worth it. You opened the car door and your eyes widened when you realized that this wasn't any regular house. It was big. You had no idea your cousin was this rich.

"Big, right?" Irene stood next to you and asked.

You nodded and gulped. How was someone like you supposed to live in such a nice how like this?

Inside was even better. You were amazed by all of the fancy furniture and decorations that were hung up. Irene really went all out.

Irene showed you around the whole house and you truly couldn't believe where life has taken you. It felt like an honor just to live in such a fancy, rich house, you thought.

"And this, this is your room." Irene opened the door to your room.

Your room had a queen sized bed to the right corner with a night stand beside your bed. And to your left, you had a vanity area full of skincare, makeup, and everything you needed.

"Wow, you did all of this?" You asked and she nodded her head.

"Thank you, Irene! I don't know how I'll ever pay you back for this." You exclaimed and she smiled at you before she left, mumbling something but you didn't catch what she said. But you also didn't care so it left your mind in an instant.
