"V-V?"

What's going on? God dammit.

You tried to untie the mask off, but it wouldn't budge. Shit. Now you were beginning to feel uneasy at the thought of V changing. You weren't scared, but you were aware of the situation.

But why didn't this happen earlier? Why is it occurring now?

"Look at me, V." You locked your hands with his and moved closer, caressing his face too.

You knew he was struggling, but you weren't going to leave him. By doing that, you'd risk lives and even your own.

"Look at me, V." You whispered quietly but he heard you, and he turned his head.

"Don't think about anything else, just think of me." You said, hoping to calm him down. You felt his grip on you tightened, it hurt but you let him be.

"Everything's going to be okay. Just look at me." You said again, caressing his face more.

Gosh, I can't see you and I really wish I could.

V's grip softened, his eyes were slowly returning back to his normal eye color and his fangs vanished out of thin air.

V's hands slipped away from yours onto your shoulders, shaking you roughly. "Are you okay?!" You heard the panic in his voice causing you to let out a laugh.

"What's so funny, huh?" he gripped you even rougher.

You winced at his touch and turned away. But once he realized he was hurting you, he removed his hands from your shoulders onto his side. "I'm sorry."

"What happened to you? Why were you freaking out?" You questioned, but it was only silence that filled the air.

I shouldn't have asked that...

"That wasn't me." he answered, you cocked your head towards him, hearing his voice more clear from your left ear.

You bit your lip. "What do you mean that wasn't you?"

You were growing impatient and wanting answers to your questions. V sighed and turned away from you, not wanting to look at your fragile body.

Even though he didn't want to hurt you, you were still so tempting and something inside him awakened.

You were still trying to figure out how you calmed a vampire down. Was it that you held his hands or was it your words that relaxed him?

"Nothing. Go away." he coldly spoke, now leaving you even more confused.

How could someone change personalities so fast?

You huffed in anger, annoyed with his damn attitude. "Fine, then take this mask off of me."

V's eyes widened as he realized you were still wearing a mask and he knew you couldn't untie it yourself.

He bit his lip and reflected on how he was going to have you get home safely while being able to still see.

"Shit, I don't know..." his voice trailed off.

"Then you should have never put on this damn mask on me in the first place. This is all your fault." You blamed him, getting up and slowly walking away.

Even with your vision concealed, that wasn't going to get in the way of getting home.

"And where do you think you're going?"
