- Y/N's Pov -

Working at the coffee shop was actually much harder than I expected it to be. I messed up a lot of the orders, but thankfully, no one complained and Taehyung always helped me out.

I'm so grateful to have him as a friend. I'd probably lose my job without his help.

"Hey, Y/N. Business is slowing running nowadays because of our current situation, so our manager told us we'll be closing early today." Taehyung said.

I sighed. This whole vampire situation has gone out of control. Unfortunately about 100 people have gone missing and only a few of their bodies have been found in woods or dumped onto the road.

Who could have the heart to do such horrible, cruel things to people?

But it suddenly hit me, vampires. The one thing I was scared of, but not scared to the point I'd be paranoid 24/7.

Deep down I hoped he had nothing to do with those disappearances. He just doesn't radiate that type of personality.

And I still haven't seen him since that night, almost every evening I try to go and see him. But it's like he doesn't want to be found; Like he's hiding from me.

"Why the glum face?"

I turned my head and saw Taehyung seated across from me, after putting up the 'closed' sign on the door.

"Nothing, I'm just exhausted." I answered, but he didn't seem to believe me.

"Do you need a ride home?" Taehyung offered.

He knew I walked home every day, but only because I didn't want to bother Irene every night since she works long, hard hours and is exhausted by the time she gets home.

And also because I didn't have my drivers license in Korea.

"I'm okay. Thank you though." I smiled at Taehyung.

"Okay, if you need anything, remember you have my number." he gave me his boxy smile and left.

Maybe I will text him tonight. I've had his number for a while now, but I've been too shy to text him.

He brushed his hair back softly as he changed into his black hoodie and dark, black jeans. It's been a while, Y/N. Do you miss me at all? He chuckled at himself and started walking towards the direction he knew Y/N always took.

Not a second goes by that she isn't on his mind. It's just that every time he thought of her, he thought of everything he wanted to do to her. But he had to stop thinking about her.

He wouldn't want to repeat history all over again, right? The last time he let himself get carried it, he lost her. And he's never seen her since.

So he isn't going to allow something like that to happen again, or at least he'll try not to.

Y/N was slowly walking through that dark alley despite how scared and cold she was. Yet again she was secretly hoping to see him, but she knew deep down that probably was the last time she'd ever see him again.

Get over it, Y/N.

You told yourself to stop. You couldn't keep hoping every day you'd run into that vampire.

Your eyes landed on a figure standing far away, but you knew that figure too well. Him. Your heart pounded fast as you walked faster, afraid he'd leave once he would hear, but you completely forgot he was a vampire which meant he could sense you and hear you.

After catching up to him, you stood behind him as you admired him staring at the stars.

"Took you long enough." he spoke, breaking the silence.

You were about to move so you could see his face, but he stopped you.

"No."

"But why?"

"I want to see you..."

He deeply sighed. "No. You cannot see me."

You furrowed your eyebrows. "What's the point in meeting up with me if you aren't even gonna show yourself?"

He laughed. "I didn't come here for you."

You crossed your arms. "Is that so?"

Suddenly, he pulled out a mask and you backed away. Is he trying to kidnap me?

"Relax, idiot. I'm not going to kidnap you."

Can he hear my thoughts? Read my mind?

"Close your eyes." he ordered.

"Excuse me?" you scoffed, surprised.

"I said close your eyes." he growled, scaring you a little bit.

You eventually gave in, closing your eyes. What's he gonna do to you anyway? Kidnap you? Murder you? Suck the blood out of you? Who cared anymore because you obviously didn't.

"If you open your eyes, I will chop your hands off." he threatened but instead of being scared, you broke into laughter.

"What? Did you think I was kidding?" he asked you.

Suddenly, he pulled your body closer to his, closing the distance between you and you were yet again pressed up against his body. You bit your lip while curling your toes. You didn't know what he was doing, but a few seconds later, you feel his hands wrapping a mask blocking your eyesight.

"Why?" you asked.

"If you see me, I'm afraid I'll have to kill you."

sorry for the lame chapter but i promise (for real) the next chapter is more interesting;)
