After helping the girls get ready I walk downstairs and head to the kitchen where I find Mom cooking with Juliet and Fiona.
They all look up when I enter the room. Mom's mouth opens and closes a few time. "You look beautiful, Lizzie. Your graduation class are going to stop calling you a townie after this."
"I don't care what they call me." Walking over to the fridge I grab a bottle of water.
A horn beeps outside the house and I look out the window and see a limousine parked in front of the house. "Who hired the limousine?"
Jasper and Dylan walk down the stairs in suits. "We did." They say together.
Dylan looks at me. "You're coming with us. Everyone in your class is going to think you've come into money and that you're not just a townie."
"You're being an ass." I shove past him. "I'm not going to ride in that thing with you. I'll get there on my own." Pulling my phone out of my pocket I call a cab.
Jasper yells. "The cars here, girls. We can't keep the driver waiting."
Chloe, Ace, Nina, Briana, Dana, Katrina and Sebastian walk down the stairs.
Mom walks into the living room and looks at us. "I want you all outside so I can take pictures of you all before you go to the reunion. It's been a long time since I've had decent photos of all of you together." She looks at Nina and Chloe and says. "You both didn't invite us to your wedding and that would have been great pictures for me to have in the house."
"Mom," Nina begins. "Ronny and I didn't want to have a huge wedding, so we just invited people that are close to us."
She shouldn't have said that to Mom. Being invited to that wedding was something that she wanted.
She takes a step forward dragging her right leg. "Nina, you're embarrassed by me. That's why you didn't want your father and I at the wedding..."
I didn't think Mom would know that.
"Mom," Nina cuts in. "I'm not..."
Chloe cuts in. "Nina, don't lie to Mom. She deserves to know the truth." She takes a step forward and says. "Mom, I got drunk in Las Vegas and married Ace. The next morning we talked and decided that we wanted to stay married. I'm sorry I didn't invite you to mine. When we do get married I want you there." She keeps Mom distracted until she leads the way outside.
I follow my siblings outside. They are all partnered off and I stand at the side.
I hate that they've made me feel unwanted by being with their significant other, while I'm let alone.
They all should have stayed at home and let me have this one night for myself, but like usual they'll come up with anything to make it about them.
Mom takes pictures of the couples and then a few of me on my own.
After the pictures are taken everyone climbs into the limo and I refuse to go with them.
The car pulls away from the curb and the cab pulls in front of the house.
Mom looks at me and says. "Why didn't you go with everyone?"
"Because my graduating class knows that I still live in town and I don't want them to see that I can ride in style. It's not what they're expecting of me and it's not what I want to do. I'm getting the cab and going there on my own."
A smile spreads across her face. "I'm proud of you, sweetheart. You're still doing what you want and not allowing you're siblings to tell you what to do." She pulls some cash out of her pocket and gives it to me. "The cab is on me. "
I kiss her cheek. "Thanks, Mom." Waking over to the cab I sit in it and wave at Mom as the car pulls away.

When the cab pulls in front of club 21 I see groups of people standing outside the club. Paying the driver I step out of the car.
Katrina is leaning against the wall with Sebastian in between her legs and he's kissing her. She pushes him back and says. "There's Eliza. She's going to get us all into the Club."
On the other side of them are my brothers and sisters. I walk over to them and say. "So, you couldn't get in without being the class of 2010?"
"That's right we couldn't," Jasper says. "Can you please help us sneak in?"
"Go to the alley. I'll get you in through the back. No one is going to notice that's you've snuck into the club." I walk away from them and enter the club.
As soon as I walk into the Club I see a table with two women. Mischa Coleman and Harley Tate.
They both smile at me. "Name?" Mischa says.
"Eliza Donoghue."
Harley snorts. "The Townie." She coughs into her hand.
Placing my hands on my hips I say. "Yeah, I'm the townie, but there's a lot more to me than that. You don't know my story and don't you ever pretend you know it." I grab my tag off the table and walk away.
When I get to the back entrance I open the door fort siblings and they enter the club. Looking at them I say. "Don't look for me tonight. I want to have to fin without worrying about all of you ruining my night."
Katrina wraps her arms around her husband. "You have to worry about us."
Jasper and Dylan say the same thing as they walk away.
Nina doesn't say anything as Ronnie pulls her through the club to meet some of his old friends.
Chloe and Ace agree before walking away and joining the crowd.
A woman with dark brown hair walks past me with a tray of drinks. I grab the Chardonnay and make my way through the room.
Someone places there hand on my arm and spins me towards them. "Hey," the girl looks at my name tag. "Lizzie,"
Looking at her name it says 'Fiona Steele.'
Her name sounds familiar.
"You're the girl that everyone calls townie. Just this morning someone was telling us the story about how you and Austin used the flag pole to post a girls bra. Do you remember who the girl was?"
Of course, I remember who the girl was. She was always flirting with Austin and she tried kissing him while I was standing a few feet from him. He dodged her advance and then when we had gym I swiped it from her bag and ran it up the flagpole while everyone was playing soccer on the field.
Austin followed me away from the field where we ran it up. The blue bra flew when the wind blew.
People were laughing and pointed it out when we had lunch.
One of the girls from the cheerleader squad pointed out that Rachelle (the head cheerleader) wasn't wearing a bra.
She shrugged it off and said. "I must have misplaced it." She walked away with her squad without a care in the world.
