When I get to the bathroom I lean against the wall and look at myself in the mirror.

Why can't my siblings leave me alone? I mean we butt into their business. Yet they seem to want a say in everything I do.

The only person that lets me do what I want is Kat. She knows all the sacrifices I have made and how much I don't regret what I've done so far in my life.

To me looking after Mom is rewarding, especially with all the sacrifices she's had to make to keep us fed and making sure we did our homework.

When we were growing up she spent time at the bar helping Dad out, but when Jasper set a fire to the old sheriff station Mom had to quit her job and spend a lot of time with Jasper.

Jasper had a lot of court hearings and got locked up for three months after that. He never thanked Mom for being with him during the trial and when he was released from the children's detention centre.

The door to the restroom opens and my sister, Katrina walks in. She stops next to me and says. "Are you okay?"

She knows I'm not, but she likes to know what's going through my head, which is why she's asking.

Looking at her I say. "No, I'm just going to go home for the night. They're ruining my night and they shouldn't have come to the reunion. Like usual they want to butt into my life and remind me how much I'm wasting it by staying here and helping our parents."

She hugs. "Continue doing what you're doing. I'll always have your back and so will my husband."

Wrapping my arms around her. "Thanks, Kat." Stepping away from her. "I'll see you later." Not waiting for Katrina I walk out of the restroom and head to the bar.

When I get there I don't see anyone close by and I slip behind the bar.

Grabbing four bottles of wine from behind the bar I place them in a plastic bag and walk out of the club.

When I get to the parking lot I take the path that leads down to the lake. Turning the flashlight on my phone I make my way down the windy path.

At the bottom of the path is a dirt track and I follow that to the end. Opening up a bottle of Chardonnay I sit on the edge of the wooden platform.

With how quiet it is down here I can hear the buoys.

Closing my eyes I remember one of the moments I shared down here with Austin.

It was a beautiful day, the sky was clear and birds were flying around at the lake.

Austin and I pull our clothes off and dive into the lake. We race each other to the other platform that's located close by.

The buoys bob in the water and boats are in the lake. A few people are fishing close to us.

We swim over to the platform and climb out. Leaning on our arms we look up at the sky.

"Have you applied to any schools yet?" Austin asks.

"Yeah, I'm thinking of going to UCLA or one of the ones in the city."

A smile spreads across his face. "Yeah, that was my number one school too. The scouts for UCLA are coming to game soon. I need to impress them with my skills."

Shoving his shoulder I say. "You're a great player. You don't need to impress anyone."

"I impressed you with my skills on and off the field. Do I need to show you more?"

"I think you've lost your touch, Austin. You need to remind me."

"Remind you my ass." He pulls me down and places his lips on mine. "You'll never forget this moment, Eliza."

We make out heavily, but I stop him before he can too far because of the people that are close to us.

I lean back on the dock and close my eyes.

"Eliza," yells someone.

I open my eyes and see Austin standing above me and rain to falling from the sky. Clouds are over the top of us and a loud crack echo around us.

Then there's a flash of lightning and it touches the lake.

When I look around the lake I don't see anyone close to us.

Fuck, what are we going to do?

We're stuck on the platform with a storm around us.

"Austin, what are we going to do?"

He looks around and then says. "Fuck, my phone is on the other side of the lake. I'm not sure how we're going to get out of here."

"Eliza?" Austin says.

Turning towards him I say. "What do you want, Austin?"

"To talk. Just like we did ten years ago. That reunion isn't the same without you."

Shaking my head I say. "It's much better without me. I couldn't stand to be in a room with all the fake people." Holding the bottle out to him. "Do you want to celebrate with me? It's better to do it with someone other than myself."

"Sure," He takes the bottle from me and drinks from it.

Pulling the dress over my head I dive into the lake and swim over to the platform. When I get over there I walk over to the lifeguard chair and look at our names that are engraved on it.

It doesn't take long before Austin is standing with me. He runs his hand over it. "Do you remember why we engraved our names on here?"

"Yeah, we thought we were going to die when the storm was over the top of us because we stupidly fell asleep and when we woke there was a storm. I didn't know a storm was going to hit in the afternoon."

"Neither did I. Do you remember who came to our rescue?"

"Yeah, it was Katrina. She stole one of the lifeguard boats and steered it to us and got us to climb in after the lifesavers refused to see if we're out there."

"She knew we were and got us. When we returned the boat she yelled at them before I had to pull her away."

"That was the best date I ever had." He tucks a piece of my black hair behind my ear. "I miss having you in my life, Liza. You were the best thing that happened to me."

My heart begins to race at hearing those words from his mouth. I've missed him too, but he has a girlfriend.

Austin's lips touch mine and all thought about his girlfriend is wiped from my memory. His tongue slips into my mouth and he deepens it. "Liza, tell me you want me just as much as I do you."

Looking him in the eyes I say. "I want you more, Austin. I need you to put that hard cock into me and make sure that I can't walk tomorrow."

Austin pulls my underwear to the side and slips his cock into me. He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around him. "I'm taking you back to the fucking hotel when we're done."
