Austin's POV
Zipping up my suitcase. I pick it up and carry it to the front door. "I'm about to head out, Casey. I'll be gone for a month."
She steps out of the room wearing a white dress that has a slit up the side of the leg and there's a dip at the back. "Me, too. The shoot is going to take place when I get there." Leaning forward she kisses me.
Pulling her against me I deepen the kiss. After a couple of minutes, we pull away. "Bye," I grab my suitcase and leave the house.
When I get to my black BMW I hit the alarm button and the alarm turns off. I place my stuff in the trunk and then climb into the drivers seat.
Reversing the car out of the parking lot I turn the car to the left and head towards the small town I grew up in.
***
Three hours into the drive I pull into a service station and fill up the car. Scanning my card I pay for it and then climb back onto the car.
Pulling away from the service station I continue along the road until I reach the town.
A smile spreads across my face as I see the sign to the town. I pull the car over and step out of it. Taking a picture with the sign I put it on Facebook with the caption.
I'm home.
I put it online and a few people start sending me a message.
Ronnie Abercrombie: Can't wait to see you.
Nina Abercrombie: Looking good, Aus. ;)
I'm surprised that she would say something like that to her sisters ex-boyfriend.
Mischa Coleman: What time are you getting to the club? You owe me a drink, sweetheart. ;)
Of course I do.
Austin Wilde: Mischa Coleman: I'll be there at 7 pm. I'm looking forward to seeing you.
Putting the phone back into my pocket. I climb into the car and continue driving until I reach Spencer Hotel.
I climb out of the car. Grabbing my suitcase I head to the office. Opening the door I wait in the queue until all the people in front of me has been checked in.
"Austin," A female voice says. "Is that you?"
Turning around I come face to face with Jordyn, "Hey, Jordyn. What are you doing here?"
"My husband owns this place." she walks behind the counter and write on the computer. "I'll show you to your room, Mr Wilde."
Grabbing the card from the desk she leads the way to the lift. She presses the button and we wait for the lift door to open. "I'm surprised that you're staying here instead of going home."
"I'm here for three nights and then I'll be staying at home with my parents. I just didn't want to wake them up after the reunion."
A smile spreads across her face. "I've seen photos of you and that beautiful girlfriend of yours. I was hoping she would be here today."
"She's flown over to Milan for a photoshoot. Apparently, she's going to be the new face of Axel's."
A frown appears on Jordyn's face as she thinks hard about what I've told her. She pulls her phone out of her pocket and typed something in it. "There's no magazine called Axel. Are you sure that's what she said?"
"Yes," pulling my phone out of my pocket I give her all the details that Casey shared with me.
Going through the phone she checks out all the information. "It's all a scam, Austin. She's been lying to you. I wonder if she's actually in Milan."
