Above is the inspo for Samantha's 2nd outfit :)chapter 9//Birthday Girl
I turn to hit the blaring alarm clock beside me. It's Saturday, so the boys have another performance tonight. It's their last one before we go to Scotland.
The phone rang on the other side of my bed. I groaned and rolled over to pick it up.
"Hello?" I said groggily.
"Hi darling, this is Freddie."
"Oh, good morning, Freddie! How're you?""I'm doing lovely, thank you, dear. I wanted to ask if you would like to join the boys and I for lunch this afternoon?"
"I would love to Freddie! I'll see you there."We said our goodbyes and I hung up the phone. I rubbed my eyes, stressing slightly about the little interaction Roger and I shared last night. No matter, though. He could've been too drunk to even remember it.
Let me tell you, he was not.
I get up to curl my hair a bit and dress in a tiny sundress with a light leather jacket on top. I gently place a pair of circular sunglasses overtop my hair, careful not to mess up my hair. I lay some necklaces on my chest, carefully separating each one evenly in front of my bathroom mirror.
I'm soon interrupted by the knock at my door. "Come in!" I shout.
I step out of the bathroom to see Brian standing at the door.
"Hey, so Roger and I are going to the movies and I was wondering if you wanted to come along."
Although I would like nothing more right now than to avoid Roger, I can't say no to Brian. He's been nothing but good to me this whole week and I appreciate that. "Sure," I say with a fake smile.
I join him outside.
I sigh. If there's one thing I hate, it's other people driving my car. I guess Roger knows this because he's sitting in the passenger's seat, smirking as he watches me walk over.
He knows that I'll have to be in the driver's seat, so he probably sees this as the perfect opportunity to do something weird. I don't know what, but I don't trust this idiot.
I jog over to the other side of the car, sliding in behind the wheel. I don't say anything because Brian's sitting just in the back seat, but I quickly glance at him before starting the car.
Once we're on the road, I turn on the music to quiet the silence.
It's a red light when Roger decides it's a good idea to settle his hand on my thigh. I smack his hand away and I can see Brian in the mirror looking up at us.
"What the hell?," I whisper to him. I turn my eyes to the road before he can respond.
"I thought maybe two awkward touches would cancel out," he whispered.
So he did remember.
I stared at him in disbelief and raised an eyebrow. His logic, I will never understand.
"It's green," he said, pointing.

Eventually, we arrive at the theater. Roger and I follow Brian to our seats.
Roger points to the people next to us. "I got dibs on the middle. I don't want to sit next to strangers," he says to Brian.
I roll my eyes. "Oh, get over it, Roger. You're an adult," I say, annoyed.
"Oh my goodness, you two. I thought we were done with this. Roger can sit in the middle, it's not that big a deal, Samantha," Brian says.
I sigh but let him sit in the middle, to the right of me.
