"Lisa..."

Lisa looked up to see Jongin standing in front of her desk. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"Err... Yes? Why?"

"You've been staring at that one page for I think... 20 minutes now." Jongin folded his arms. "Is something wrong? You look distracted."

Lisa tried to smile. "Nothing's wrong. I was just thinking."

"About?"

"The case, of course. What else is there?" Lisa glanced at her computer clock. She had spent the whole morning trying to read the case files only to find herself being constantly distracted by thoughts of Seungjin and Yongbak.

Jongin shrugged. "You're not one to be distracted easily so I can't help but think that there's something else going on." He stared at Lisa – looking her in the eyes. "Is there?"

Lisa shook her head – silently apologizing for keeping a secret from her teammate. "I've just been thinking about this judge. How did we miss all this? We knew he was bribed so why didn't we think to look further?"

"Because he wasn't the prime suspect in that case," Jongin said. "We were after a murderer and not a corrupt judge. At that time, it didn't seem relevant. Besides, we were moving quite fast. We were ready to charge him and bring him in within days. We haven't had the chance to dig deeper into his background."

Lisa didn't reply to that. "Did you and Joonmyun find something?"

Jongin nodded. "I was just going to ask you to come to the con room."

Lisa stood up and closed the folder. "Let's go then." She took the folder with her as she walked with Jongin into the conference room.

They went inside to see everyone there including Jisoo.

"So what have you got?" Lisa asked no one in particular. She took a seat near where Jisoo was standing, placing the folder on the desk.

"We did a background check on everyone who had worked with him from his secretaries, clerks, assistants to fellow judges he had ever presided over a case with. None of them had a criminal record and everyone had an alibi for the time of murder," Joonmyun spoke up.

"Family?" Lisa asked.

"He got divorced more than ten years ago. His wife took their only son away from him and he'd lived alone since then. He still sent her money from time to time, probably for his son whom he'd never seen again since the divorce," Jongin answered.

"How did you know that?"

"We talked to him and to his mother. He said he didn't even know where his father lived," Jongin explained. "His grandparents are pretty much in control after the divorce."

"How old is he now?" Jisoo asked.

"He's a student at Seoul University," Joonmyun said.

Jisoo raised her eyebrows. "Smart kid."

"Do they have an alibi?" Lisa asked. She wanted to be thorough.

"Yes they do. The mother was at home with her parents and her younger sibling. The son was at the university, at his dorm. We've confirmed with his roommate," replied Joonmyun.

"What else do we have?"

"Well, we're still sorting through his cases," Seulgi answered. "There are seven years worth of cases here so it might take a while. But, our resident genius Jen here has created some sort of graph to make it easier to detect anomalies in the cases we've gone through so far." Seulgi pointed at Jennie.
