Chapter 18(Baby#2)

( so I'm skipping into 9 months because I'm just really excited to write about the new baby being born so yea, it's month 9 she's very close to delivering the beautiful baby ?♥️)
                                       I'm 9 months pregnant and let's just say it's been amazing and not so amazing. I'm on maternity leave and could go into labor any day now. Peter has been very overprotective since the day I told him I was pregnant and he's also starting to get more protective of Thea and I don't know why. Theas been an angel helping me with stuff and helping pick out my outfits for the day witch she loves I swear she could be a fashion designer one day if she really wanted too. Ever since Peter and I found out we were having another girl we've been thinking about baby names and we finally decided on Nova. It's unique and it's beautiful just like she will be. We've been so excited and I've ordered and shopped for tons of baby clothes and toys and room stuff for Nova. Thankfully we have everything ready for Nova her room and new baby monitors and let's just say Thea is beyond excited for her new sister she even wanted to share a room with her but Peter and I decided that we should do separate rooms for now just too see how it goes but we even redesigned Theas room for fun and we all loved it. Thea and Novas room were right beside each others and they looked amazing. We even added a play room.
          

This pregnancy I wasn't staying at daddy's and everyone wasn't staying with me because this time I had Peter. Although everyone wanted to do the same thing we done last time we all decided to just call each other when the baby is on the way or as soon as my water breaks. The whole family and Peter are super excited. I'm even more excited because 2 girls is going to be amazing and they'll have Peter wrapped around their finger. I'm just saying Nova has amazing family that loves her and she hasn't even met them yet. Peter and I were talking last night and we have decided that we will have at least one more baby and then after that no more. Peter wants a boy since so far only girls and I don't really care as long as our baby is healthy. We've talked about adopting one day but we're not sure because we don't really know a lot about the whole process but I'm sure we could figure it out. Also the Disney family vacation was coming up soon and since the baby was going to be born something this week we've decide to leave for Disney 3 weeks after Novas birth. I've already started packing and we all have 1 suitcase even Nova has one. I've packed leggings and hoodies along with a one piece because you know baby weight. Thea has plenty of clothes packed along with a bathing suit and sunscreen. Nova has a little hat to protect her face with many clothes too and a little bathing suit as well. I even packed Peters because he is the worst at packing. I packed him clothes and deodorant and all the essentials he'll need.
It was about 6 in the morning, Peter had just left for lacrosse practice(did I mention he is a professional lacrosse player-♥️) about an hour ago. I got up and went to the bathroom and hopped in the shower. I got dressed in leggings and a Nike's hoodie with white Nike shoes. As I was tying my shoe I felt a big gush of water leak down my legs. Then I realized my water just broke. My baby girl is coming! I was so excited I quickly texted Peter " The baby is coming!♥️" and the rest of the family. Peter immediately called me back not even a second later. Covey!!!!! Are you okay he screams into the phone. Yea I'm fine I say. Okay just sit down relax I'm 5 minutes away then he says I love you and hangs up. Instead of sitting down I decide to go do my hair and makeup and change my leggings. Peter want be holy with me not relaxing but hey gotta look cute. even if I am giving birth. I quickly change my leggings and then head to the bathroom and decide to do a full face. I apply primer and then light foundation not too much. I add highlighter and blush with some light brown eyeshadow. I do a little bit of eyeliner barely noticeable and curl my lashes then put on mascara then I put on some chapstick with lip gloss. As I'm curling my hair Peter runs in the room and looks panicked. It's the funniest thing ever when he sees me with a full face of make-up on and curling my hair while in labor. COVEY! are you seriously getting dressed up when your literally fixing to push a baby out of you I'm an hour." He ask annoyed that I'm not sitting down right now. " Peter relax it's okay I haven't had any bad contractions yet." I say calmly while Peter looks like he's about to pass out. "Covey we gotta go you're in labor already. I'll go grab the bags and you head to the care carefully please" he says panicked. Thea is with Margot right now because Margot wanted to take her with her to the spa so they could get they're toes done I mean she's only one but hey everyone needs to relax. We arrive at the hospital finally, Peter called earlier to let them know I was in labor so they have a wheel chair ready for me. The same doctor that delivered Thea will deliver Nova. Dr. Harley absolutely loves Thea and is excited about Nova she looked a little confused when she saw Peter at my ultrasound for Nova but didn't ask any questions. I'm guessing because he wasn't their when I had ultrasounds for Thea but hey things have changed and it's better now. We make it too my room and they get me all set and ready to go. Dr. Harley checks to see if I'm dilated and I'm 3cm dilated and soon I'll be ready to push. Everyone is here except Ash she had to go to her parents because her mom was having g back surgery which I understand she needs to be their but I promised I would send photos. Everyone came to
visit me before I was close to giving birth. Margot,Kitty,and Trina decides to stay and help this time along with Peter. It was about 10am and I was ready to push and when I say me I mean Nova was ready not me but I could do it the pain would just be a memory soon for a lifetime of happiness to replace it. Dr. Harley counted down from 10 all the way to one and it was the longest 10 seconds ever. "Alright one last push" I screamed in pain while Peter was kissing my head and holding my hand telling  me how much he loved me and how strong I am. Suddenly I heard cries. My sweet Novas cries and I seen Peter tear up as I was balling my eyes out. Peter cut Novas Cord and the the nurses handed Nova to Peter and Peter rocked her and promised to always be their and love her forever. Peter laid her in my arms and I cried uncontrollably she was beautiful and looks exactly like Peter not even a little like me. I could already see Thea and her look so much a like which means they both look exactly like Peter. She has my nose though which Thea has too so I guess there's that but other than that they look exactly like Peter. " Do we have a name?" The nurse ask "Yes" I say excitingly. " Nova Song Kavinsky" Thea is a song covey girl but we decided to change it to Song Kavinsky so they could both have Peters last name. Soon the nurses allow our family to come in and meet Nova. They all adore her and Peters mom absolutely loves her. This is her first time meeting Nova since last time I gave birth to Thea she didn't come because she wanted to give me space because of how Peter reacted and wasn't sure if I wanted her to come. She will soon meet Thea too because she hasn't got to meet her because she was still very upset with Peter but they worked it out about a month ago and she said she would wait till I gave birth so she could meet both of them. Owen and her are actually going to Disneyland with us in 3 weeks and everyone is super excited and I really hope this trip will give every one a chance to bond and get more acquainted with each other  but I can only hope and pray for the best. Soon everyone has left and it is time for me to get discharged. We signed all the papers all ready and set up her first doctors appointment it's next Monday. I also decided to make Thea a check-up since she does need one. Margot still has Thea till tonight so we can get everything ready and then she can meet Thea. Once we arrive home Peter is already a nervous wreck even though he took great care of Thea when she was a newborn too so he needs to calm down. The only thing I'm upset about is he wasn't their for Theas birth but everyone makes mistakes even if it was not the best decision. Everything is going great though we're 21 and both have good jobs. Peters a professional lacrosse player and I'm a nurse in training. We have a middle class house in a middle class neighborhood and we make good money. We have two beautiful baby girls and a beautiful family and I couldn't ask for anything better in life. As soon as we walk in the house Peter gives Nova too me so I can feed her. Once I'm done feeding her I take her and lay her down in her crib in our room since I want to make sure she's okay for the first couple days then I'll let her sleep in her room. I'm laying down in the bed beside Novas crib when Peter comes and lays down beside me and ask me for the thousandth time if I need anything. "Peter if you ask me that one more time I'm going to slap you." I say annoyed. " message received I just want to make sure my family is okay and we have everything we need and I really kiss Thea too." He says. " She'll be here soon honey and everything is fine as long as we're all here.  Peter looks at me and I can tell he's thinking about something. " Covey I just want to tell you how much I love our family and you and I couldn't ask for a better fiancé or children to share my life with and even though the Thea and Nova look more like me"- he says proudly and then sees my face. " I'm just saying they are still both like you in many ways and I couldn't ask for anything more than the love I have for y'all." He leans into kiss me and I say. "I love you too and couldn't ask for a more than what we have right now."
Soon it is about 8pm and I hear Margot knock and just as I'm about to get up Peter stops me and says he'll get it. I know I just gave birth but I can still do things, I mean it's just opening a door. I get up anyways and see Margot hand Thea too Peter and she's so excited. I go hug Margot and wave her goodbye she has to leave because she needed to run by her job real quick for something. As I shut the door Peter is showering Thea with kisses and he tells her he loves her and she's giggling like crazy. She really is like me always giggling for no reason. Once we get Thea situated I go get Nova and gently place her in Theas arms while Peter hangs on to both of them just incase because she's only one and she's holding a newborn but she's very responsible for her age. She really is just like me except with Peters charm and looks.  Thea is beyond excited to hold her and meet her but then Nova starts crying so I go over and grab her and reassure Thea she's just tired and she really is I mean she's only been in this world for 5 hours. While Peter gets Thea ready for bed I go ahead and change Nova into her pajamas and rock her to sleep then lay her in her crib. Once she's asleep I go into Theas room and kiss her goodnight and tell her I love her and she's already passed out. Once I change into shorts and an oversized t-shirt I walk into the room and lay down in bed and Peters already passed out laying beside Novas crib with one of his hands laying on the side of her crib. I crawl into bed and kiss Peter on his head and Novas and just thank god that I have such an amazing family that I love so much.
