Chapter 9

Harry has been ignoring me for two whole weeks. When I get to homeroom he would always try to get as far as away from me as he could. He won't sit at his usual spot at the lunch table.Lately I've been very depressed. I haven't eaten or slept right in two weeks. My aunts been noticing but doesn't say anything. I honestly don't know why he's ignoring me maybe it's me? Did I kiss him right? It looked so easy in the movies. I mean it was easy the way his lips fit so perfectly on mines made the kiss wonderful. Those pink plump lips on mine and the fireworks were going crazy that I felt my knees going weak

I need something to get my mind off things.

Maybe I'll go swimming. I'll text some friends and we'll go swimming. I open my door to ask Nena if I can go swimming. I see her in the living room with her feet on the couch with a blanket and a copy we'll my copy of pride and prejudice.

"Hey Nena" I greet her, I see her flinch she hates when I don't call her aunt Nena but honestly it just doesn't have a ring to it.

"Hi Janell, what's up?" She says sitting up and putting her bookmark on the page she's on.

"Can I go swimming I'm going to invite some friends to, so can I pleeeeessseeeeaaaaaa?" I say with my puppy eyes that always works on her.

She seems to think about it and I see emotions flowing through her eyes worry. She seems hesitant at first but sighs and says.

"Fine but promise me you'll be safe and wear sunscreen"

I squeal and get up to hug her and run out the living room before she changes her mind. I open the door to my room and walk over to by cabinet and pull out a red bikini. I strip out of my clothes and put on the bikini. I walk over to the bathroom and make sure I look okay. I stare at my self and sigh, I'm super self concouis. You can still see my scar on my waist but I doubt anyone will be looking at me anyway. I go back to my room and put on my blue jean shorts and a blue T-shirt. I grab a pink beach bag and put in a towel, my brush,some undergarments,and sunscreen. I quickly text shy.

Shy: hey wanna come to the pool ;-) invite a few people.

She texts me back immediately.

Definitely I'll meet you in 15 minutes and I'll totally invite people don't worry I got it :-*

Smiling, I quickly put my hair in a messy bun and head to the kitchen. I'll need to pack snacks since we'll probably be there for awhile. I cut some fruit and put them in plastic containers, chips, cookies, and some drinks. I put then in my bag since my bag it humongous and has plenty of space. I put on my blue sandals and head to Nenas room. I knock and hear a faint 'come in'. I poke my head in and say.

"Okay im heading out I'll see you in a couple hours"

"Okay um be safe and please be careful and did you pack some sunscreen?" She asks raising a eyebrows.

"Yes" I state rolling my eyes.

"Okay have fun and don't forget what I said"

I close the door and exit her room. I grab the pool keys and grab them off the hook. Crap I forgot my phone I walk over to my room and quickly grab it and stuff it in my back pocket. I head down the stairs and across the street. I use the key to open the gate and don't see anybody except a man on the beach chairs but he is laying on his stomach and had a beanie. Which doesn't make sense because it's hit outside. I walk over to the opposite side of him and wait for my friends. I take out my phone and check my messages and see I have one message.

Shy: I'm here

I look over to the door and see that she and a couple are a behind her.

I see Shy
Pamela,Jayln,Ceaser, Tanika,Brenda,Tanner,Brenda,and my heart stops and I freeze
