MAFIA DAZAI X READER (Highschool Student)

Chapter 4

Chuuya was on the edge. The person that he hates the most is with you and that person was harassing you as of the moment.

"Please let go of me." you squeaked. He could hear the panic in your voice.

"Oh but I can't--" the voice answered.

Dazai and Chuuya had been partners in various missions, so he could tell that it was Dazai's voice on the other end of the line.

Could it be possible that he have discovered your connection to him? Was he going to use you against him?

Chuuya was really worried sick. Your mother and you, is the closest thing to family---and not to mention, you are the girl who owns his heart. If Dazai tries to hurt you, he will kill him a hundred times over.

"You're bugged." Dazai said then the sound from the walkie talkie became static.

That shit-Dazai! He screamed as he stepped on the brakes.

He could see you now. Your back was facing him but he's sure that it is you, conversing with Dazai. 

He parked his motorcycle and ran towards where you where standing. As he ran, his eyes met Dazai for a few seconds.

The first thing that Dazai thought was: What is this insect doing here?

Then his incredibly intelligent brain figured it out from the way Chuuya was looking at Dazai. 

He had a lot of theories when he saw Chuuya and so he decided to narrow down the number of theories with a little gesture. When he tucked your hair behind your ear, he displayed a knife behind your back to show it to Chuuya.

Chuuya came to an abrupt stop almost two meters away and gave Dazai his signature:

 I WILL KILL YOU LOOK.

Within that short period of time, only two possible reasons remained. The boss sent Chuuya to protect you, or Chuuya wants to protect you because you are special to him.

Dazai and Chuuya always fight but Chuuya only looked at Dazai that way a single time. When he was recruiting Chuuya to the port mafia, Dazai threatened to kill the members of the sheep, back then Chuuya looked at him, the same way he was looking at him now--like a wild beast.

A laugh wanted to escape from Dazai's lips, things are getting more and more interesting.

"I'm really looking forward for everything Miss (y/n), we are going to spend a lot of time together" Dazai murmured as he realized that you recognized his name.

He observed as you squint your eyes and started to shake a little. He predicted you'd know him but he didn't predict what was about to happen next.

In a matter of seconds you suddenly fainted.

He had absolutely nothing to gain from helping you but he dropped his unsheathed knife into the ground and caught you before you hit your head.

Chuuya, upon observing that Dazai no longer has any means to harm you ran in a flash and caught you as well. 

Now aren't you a lucky girl? Two dashing boys of different appeal are ready to catch you when you fall! 

The problem is, the two boys' hands touched and due to their immense hate against each other they both let go of you.

Your unconscious body fell to the ground with a loud thud.
