I push him back and say, with a tone that shows how confused I am, "Understand what?"
He sighs and burrows his face in his hands.
"Please Gale, you know you can tell me anything." I urge him to tell me what is bothering him so much.
"I know." I can hardly hear him with his face still buried.
I give him another hug because I can see that he obviously having trouble to speak.

GALE P.O.V.
She's giving me a hug. Probably because I'm having trouble talking. she's like that, when someone is in anyway troubled she will show them affection.
Obviously, I have no choice but to give in and tell her.
I look up and give her a smile. she giggles back at me and says will her gentle voice, "Gale.."
"..Ok, ok, I'll tell you what's up." I interrupt her because I know what her lectures are like.
"It's about yesterday. About what I said. About escaping."
She obviously doesn't like where this is going so I try to keep her on the subject by going somewhere else.

KATNISS P.O.V.
Gale stand up and starts walking out. Once he's at the door, he turns around to face me.
"C'mon Catnip." he said waving for me to follow. I get up and jog behind him. he stops when we reach the fence. We crawl through the hole and jog until we reach our special river that we usually swim in.
He sits on a rock and I sit beside him.
"What's this all about?" I ask him with curiosity.
He looks. At me and said with a serious voice, "We need to escape. its for the good of our family."
"Look, we can't escape."
"Why not Catnip? Because you don't want to?"
"No" I say that with a small voice.
"Ok, I'm sorry Catnip. I really am. But I think we really should escape. we know how to hunt and we don't need to be a part of the Games anymore"
I get scared about the last thing he said. The games.
"How many times did you put you name in?" I ask Gale with a worried voice.
