An Acheri

Landon's POV:
"All summer I've been racking my brain. Feeling like something is wrong and when I die, I-" I pause.

"You what? Landon?" Hope asks getting clearly impatient.

"I see you!" I almost yelled. Her eyes got big. "I didn't realize it was you at first. But I know it now. Why?"

"I-I don't know Landon." She slightly looks down. "Yes you do." I say taking a step closer to her. "Tell me."

Hope's POV:
I don't know! Should I tell him?! He clearly wants to know...but he's with Josie. "Tell me." He steps closer. We both jumped when we heard a door slam around the corner. "What was that?" He asks.
"I'm about to find out." I say walking over, hiding behind a pillar. Landon hiding behind me. "Oh it's just Hazel." I sigh relieved. Hazel's 14, I was there with Dr. Saltzman when we brought her to the school.

She's a witch from her mom's side, but her mom left when she was a baby so she didn't know until she was 6 when she melted her step sisters barbie. She's nice but incredibly dramatic.

She had her blue pajamas on and her raven black hair in a messy bun.

Landon looked at me. "How do you know Hazel?" Ummm.

"I met her at the dance."

She had her hand out in front of her as if someone was holding it pulling her but there was no one there. "Hazel?" I call out.

She fell, it looked like she was getting dragged. Landon and I took off after her and grabbed her but it was like a game of tug of war. "Révélé!" I shout pointing at the direction of the other 'player'

It revealed a young girl nearly see through shinning red. But from what I could see it looked like a young girl. She let go of Hazel, ran off and disappeared.

"What happened?" Hazel says confused.

"We were attacked by a monster last night." Dr. Saltzman announces. After last night we told him what happened. All the students got sent to their rooms while Dr. Saltzman, Dorian and I researched what it could be. So now Dorian also knows I'm the one who went into the pit, he looked a little awkward since he was the first person I saw when I came back.

Landon tried to help us but Dr. Saltzman knew how it would make me feel so he wouldn't let him, thank god. "I got something!" Dorian exclaims. Dr. Saltzman and I rush over to the desk he was reading at. "An Acheri."

"A what?" I ask, as if that's just a common thing I should know. "It's the spirit of a young dead girl who died a brutal death or was abused and left for dead." Dr. Saltzman answers. Of course he knows.

"They make young kids sick or I guess in this case was trying to lead Hazel back to the scene of her death." Dorian explains.

"But why Hazel?" I wonder. "They don't target specific individuals, there were a lot of kids in there but Hazel was closets to the door so maybe that's why."

"Yeah ok, so how do I kill her." I say kinda excited. After everything that's happened this is exactly what I need. I get to do research and kill something. "That's where I'm stuck. See she's already dead, it does say wearing red is supposed so keep her away."

"That's all we've learned." Dr. Saltzman sums up to everyone. "So get red and don't go to sleep." Everyone groans.

"Hey, believe me, I'm gonna lose my mind if one more monster comes after our sleep."

Do you guys like me using different monsters? An Acheri is a mystical creature from native American folklore.
