11: Kiss The Girl

~first POV~
    I woke up this morning with excitement once again, I was going out with Benny to the treehouse! I ran downstairs and made myself breakfast as my mom was moving around the kitchen.
"Why are you so hyper this morning?" I looked at my mom and paused for a moment
I forgot to tell her!
"Righttt about that... can I go with Benny to the treehouse again today?? Please?"
She looked at me suspiciously once again and smirked.
"Is this another of your dates?"
"They aren't dates!"
"Sure they aren't."
I playfully rolled my eyes and smiled, "so Can I please go?"
"Yes you may."

It was 4: 56pm and I was already ready, I put on jeans, my PF flyers and a yankee shirt with my softball team sweater from my old school that had my last name stitched on.
"Bye mom! I'll see you around 9!"
"Bye y/n! Be safe!"
"Okay bye!"
I met Benny outside my door and started heading to the treehouse. Once we got there we climbed up the latter to the top; the s'mores waiting for us. I looked up and the sun was already setting into a far horizon. It felt like the first time I came here with Benny. The sunset, the s'mores, and his presence was just perfect.
"Wanna make a s'more?" I looked over to Benny and nodded my head, "of course! Why is that even a question!" Benny looked at my direction and laughed. I stacked the ingredients and made a delicious masterpiece and so did Benny. We walked over to the edge of the rail and watched the sunset together. I felt content and calm, and to be honest, every time I'm with Benny I feel this way. I'm always in a good mood and joyful when I'm around him, his mere presence gives me happiness. This is the point in time where I finally realize that I'm falling for Benny. At first I didn't accept it because we just met and we were just 'friends',but screw all that; I feel these emotions and there's no denying it. I looked over Benny beside me and he caught my gaze.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing." I looked away and blushed. "You sure?"
By the time I looked back at him he was already very close to me and most specifically, my face. I felt his warm breath on my lips and looked up to see his forest colored eyes that take my breath away much more than the sunset. He began to lean in with an unreadable expression, he became closer, and closer, and then he finally pressed his soft lips against mine. The kiss was slow and passionate and lasted for a good 6 seconds before we broke away blushing madly. The kiss was amazing and I have never felt such feelings.
"Y/n?" His voice was like a low whisper. "I have never felt this way for anyone. I always loved baseball more than anything, but now, it ain't the only thing. I may sound very cheesy right now but it's how I feel."
I looked into his shining eyes and smiled, " I've never felt this way either, I really, really like you."
He smiled and leaned in for another kiss.

We were now walking back to my house, both holding each other's hand, fingered twined together. As we made it to my front door he let go and gave me one last peck in the lips, "bye y/n."
"Bye Benny." He smiled and left as I entered my house. 
"So how was it?"
I looked over to my mom and said, "fairly interesting." She looked at me and slightly shook her head and I sent her a small smile. I went upstairs and got ready for bed.
Today was the best. And I love him so muc— wait, did I just say love? What am I doing. It's too soon, I need to stop, i just gotta sleep.
I covered myself up and fell sleep thinking of today and the amazing kiss.
