I am looking into her black eyes full of anger.

"You are not doing it."

"Temi please understand. I have to try, if I succeed, they can be free."

" It's not your responsibility, it's Aunt Maeve's."

"But we need to help her and this might be the only way. Temi they were our friends and atleast we owe it to them to try."
She is quiet for a moment.

"I know but am not risking you for them. I just can't accept that Thea."

"Well, am doing it with or without you. My mind is already made up."
I match her deadly glare.

"Am not losing you again much less put your life at risk. Am not going to let you do it even if I have to fight you."
We stand facing eachother.

Her bow at her side and my sword in hand the air circulating around us. I can feel the blue electricity intensifying in the air current circulating, it happenes everytime we argue.

The spiring is already forgotten and I can tell the direction things are heading is scaring the spectators but I didn't care.

I can't believe she is being obstinately stubborn about this. She wants to lock me up somewhere.

"Am not letting you do this. I love you and I can't see you putting yourself out there everytime with no regards about your safety Athena. We made a promise."
Her tone is softer, pleading even. She only calls me Athena when she needs me to change my mind.

"You don't have a say in that since you won't help. Part of the promise was to look out for each other." My grip tightens on the sword. I know am being pushy.

"Enough. Both of you."
Aunt Maeve's voice rings out.

She enters the meadow with Jake in tow. He looks very concerned and scared. I immediately pipe down. Our misunderstandings with Temi always scared him since he was caught in one when he was ten and almost died.

I feel a chill as I remember what we did to him when he tried to stop one of our tantrum. Temi pipes down too. We don't want to scare our brother, he's already has enough to deal with.

"What's the matter now?"
Aunt Maeve stands infront of us. She never crosses her arms like mother.

"I know how to free the Blood Fae but she won't let me."
She freezes.

"What? How? Tell me." She is so rigid. And for the first time since we came here her eyes lose the tired haunted look. In fact she looks hopeful.

"I created a barrier that keeps them away. Hypothetically, what if I can manipulate that barrier and use it as a filter." I let the sink in before continuing.
"It's like flushing the darkness out of them but someone has to absorb it but Temi won't agree to it." She is thought ful.

"That is very dangerous for you Athena. You energy is unstable."
She sternly looks at me. I sigh.

"Thank you because it's insane."
Temi gloats.

"But it might work if there's help." I have to make them see my point. It sucks when no one listens.

"What help?" Karim's voice rings out from behind me. I jump a bit. Meilin, Karim and Emmeline are standing behind me and I didn't notice when they got there.

"If I can get the past life memories of all the Blood Fae before they turned from Tir Na Nog and you act as a channel, reminding them of their nature. That will dispel all the darkness out of them but we'll need someone to absorb it."
She finishes her face lighting up more.
