I informed the police about you gone missing, for quite hot hours. I mentioned them with the possible details to track you down at the earliest hour. I provided them every minute details I could, even the scent of your perfume. They tried to console me with the promise to find my husband and offer the findings at the earliest hour possible. I remember residing beside the couch and praying for you to be in all the best shape. The telephone rang after an hour which felt like ages. I picked up the phone and the person on the other end described how they had found my husband lying in the middle of the street freezing with the grilled fish on his hand and how you were taken to the state hospital and were out of any medical complications. After I hung up the call I couldn't stop myself from sobbing against the couch.
Thereafter, I headed straight to the state hospital to see you. When I reached the hospital I inquired about your room and ran towards it. Some policemen were standing in the doorway. I told them that I was the one who called them and you were my husband. They allowed me to see you. Wasn't this all the consequence of my stubborn nature to have grilled fish? I opened the door and saw you lying on the bed. and the first thing u said was that u couldn't bring me the grilled fish and you apologized. I was ashamed to hear such statements from you and a cold breeze of guiltiness kindled my adamant desire of having grilled fish. I was again weeping with a sense of guilty in front of you and then you grabbed my hand and revealed how much you loved me from the first sight you saw me on one of your business trips to deal with my father about the fish of Palermo. You didn't let me sob anymore and said eloquently that even the whole snowfield of Antarctica couldn't freeze your Mr. Squeezy. I gave you a prudent smile with a gaze of pristine love. Since the particular event, you loved me calling you Mr. Squeezy. Though I didn't entertain the name but I was vanquished by your love. And after then I was starting to imagine a euphoric life with you but it never happened.

"Sir the dinner is ready.", a soft voice approached from behind the door.
"I am not hungry Bruno, I had a heavy lunch in the afternoon", continued senor, " You can have the dinner and the remainings are to be given to the pets of neighbors."Bruno was perplexed hearing such conformations from senor. Bruno was a loyal servant and he was never going to rebel against the decision made by senor. Bruno exited from there with the acceptance of the order given by Senor.
Senor felt asleep with the letter in his hand with a light heart that was aching somewhere with the questions regarding the reality that was creating the subtle tenacity in his thoughts.
The next day Senor was calm and composed than the day before. He still had his queries unsolved about the purpose behind the letter sent by his wife and the knowings of his affiliation with Red mafia by the women in the grocery the day before. Senor had the responsibility to carry on the business in spite of the mental chaos he was encountering. He went to his grocery shop like the other days. Senor observed the town to be quieter than usual. The businesses were running at the same pace but he didn't find that convoluted market Palermo had been seeing for years and years.
Senor was busy handling his customers. He was addressing the need of every people who were visiting his grocery.
One of his employees called him waving his hand from the counter. Senor was bewildered seeing two detectives whom he had met before, on the counter. He was intrigued to know the reason behind their presence at the time of uncertain events going in his life. He went towards the counter to address the calling of an employee.
"How can I help you mister ? ", said senor with an anxious tone.
" We came here with the same hope that you would help us ", a hoarse voice fluttered in the air." Yes!" senor replied.
The tall detective with black goggles started, " We have been following a woman with red scarf who is suspected to have plenty of information about some uncertain events and we have come to know that she paid a visit to your grocery yesterday. Do you have any idea what was it all about or anything you want to share with us? "" I remember a woman with a red scarf. She came here by to buy cigarette and strawberry", answered senor '' further she made the payment and headed her way to the inner streets."
" Why she would come out in the town after all these years just to buy cigarette and strawberry?", the two detectives murmured.
The detective with a french beard inquired further, " Do you saw any sign of suspicion or anything she might be saying that was distinctive and unusual?"
''I am not aware of any such material facts of substantial impact. She was like the daily customer I have in my grocery.", uttered senor with a gasp of feeble terror in his voice.
"We will pay you a visit whenever we will need your help", the tall detective added, " Hope you will cooperate with us like the last time."
The detectives left the counter and Senor was left behind with vulnerable thoughts. He was baffled with everything ongoing in his life and afraid of his pasts and future that showed him the possibility that could haunt him in the days to come.
