Power.
Standing at the large glass window of tallest building in the country, staring out at vast city I thought "that's what I has earned, Power."
They say the more power you have, the more people you will earn in your life. But that's not true, I have been alone.
I have power to get anything I want in this entire world.
But I'm not happy. I'm alone.
I have been alone in a hall full of colleagues, alone in a city full of people, alone in family dinners, alone in a group of close friends, I have been alone.
They can never see the nightmare that haunts me day and night, they can't see the guilt I carry all the time. The power I have earned has been coloured with the blood my family.
I killed them.
I killed them because of this power.
I hate it, this power killed my family.
I have power, but I can't get my family back.
Will I ever come back from this sorrow? Do I have to feel this pain forever. I see them in my dreams every night.
I see her,
Her laugh when I was chasing her around the house. She was my everything, she took my everything. She left me alone in this world.
I have always thought that I will always live like that my whole life. Alone.
But, then I found something.
Hope. And for the first time in 5 years I want to live.
Driving through the Yorkshire road, it feels quaint. The drive is peaceful. The trees are standing tall on both sides, looking freshly green because of the rainfall earlier in the evening. The moon is hidden behind the clouds. The environment is mixed with pine and jasmine scent.
The lights from the lamp-posts is reflecting and sparkling on the cars running around.
Suddenly I saw a flash of white and pressed on breaks, the tyres screeched because of this sudden move.I looked up and there she was, crouched on the road, in front of my car; a little rabbit clutched close to her.
I exhaled a breath because of the adrenaline rush, I got out of the car as she looked up with her beautiful almond shaped eyes.
"Are you okay?" I asked her crouching down, but not touching her. I didn't want to scare her.
She nodded. "But he is hurt" she said with a quiver in her voice. I looked down at the rabbit in her lap.
His leg was bleeding, I gulped and offered my neck wrap to wrap around it's injured leg.
She took it and carefully wrapped around rabbit's leg.
I looked at her in awe, her cute little pout as she pat the rabbit with her soft hands. I was mesmerized, I can feel her love and care for that little being.
I replied, " you shouldn't have done that, you could have gotten hurt"
she looked at me and smiled, it's breathtaking. She look so small in front of me.
"than who would have saved him" she said.
I was speechless.
Suddenly she stood up with the rabbit in her arms "I have to get him back to shelter. Thank you for your help." She said and ran before I could say anything.

It makes us feel out of world one moment and the other moment it slams us down that we don't get time to recover.
