Richmond, London
Many years ago.

A six-years-old Shehnaaz was standing in the foyer of a big old Mansion, with European interiors. The Mansion was pristine, with white concrete walls, and wooden furnishings, the tall glass windows giving the view of the surrounding nature, she can see the well kept flora of the large garden, there were tulips, orchids, daisies, Iris and her favorite poppies. She use to get one poppy flower every day from the flower shop, when she walks back from school, the flower lady is so sweet she gives her for free sometimes.

She catches an old oak tree and there was big tree house built on it, she itches to go there but stops herself.

Mom will scold me again if I go anywhere she thought.

She turns around from the tempting view but  cower away as she gets intimidated with the large house, the ceiling was domed with complicated designs on it, a huge crystal chandelier hanging from the center, she looks at twins stairways going up, where her mother went and waited patiently for her to come back so they can go back home.

It's so cold here, I want to go home and play with veere and di. She thought.

Suddenly she get startled with fear as she hears something crash from the floor, followed by loud shouting.

"What am I supposed to do with her?" A man hissed loudly.

"She's your daughter too, and I won't drag this burden all on my own, you have to take your responsibility" She hears her mother shout.

She looks around panicked, as she doesn't want her mother to get angry, because whenever she gets angry, she gets really mean.

"Don't forget who you are talking to" The man shouted and Shehnaaz looks up from where the shouting was coming, she saw a man walking out from a room and descending the stairs quickly, she perks up when she saw her mother follow behind.

"Where do you think you are going? You might be some big time business tycoon, but you can't run, YOU CAN'T RUN FROM YOUR OWN DAUGHTER" her mother shouted at the top of her lungs while, tears streaming down her face.

The man looks at her sharply while sneering, "LIKE YOU ARE RUNNING, YOU ARE ALSO DUMPING HER HERE LIKE A WASTE"

Shehnaaz stood frozen with fear while clutching her bunny toy tightly by its ears.
