Tokyo Ghoul x Male reader: Ghost (ON HOLD!)

Chapter 9

(Y/n) was sat perched on a building, making use of his Vantage point from an old building. (Y/n) observed the alleyways and streets of Tokyo. (Y/n) soon observed everything he could in the north side of Tokyo and nothing that looked like an mansion. He moved from his perched position and started running back to the spot he agreed to meet up with Kai, jumping buildings and gaps. (Y/n) soon noticed that Tokyo flourished with street lights and traffic lights, too bad it was terrorised by Ghouls. (Y/n) kept jumping buildings until a blinding dash zoomed right into (Y/n), making him fly into a building.

(Y/n): What the fuck?

(Y/n) was left indented in a brick wall with smoke emitting from the building. (Y/n) soon fell and landed face first on a concrete floor in an alleyway. A person stood there, back turned and a cloak wanted to fly away by the wind.

(Y/n): Scythe...

Scythe: Ahh, (Y/n) you remember me?

(Y/n): What are you doing in the 20th ward?

Scythe: I you know maybe Uhh... SEEKING REVENGE!

Scythe turned with bloodshot eyes and dashed to (Y/n). Thankfully (Y/n) had fast reflexes and blocked his Ukaku with (Y/n)'s Rinkaku. Scythe pulled away and starting shooting crystal like projectiles at (Y/n). (Y/n) managed to block a few before some hit his shins, chest and shoulders.

(Y/n): You bitch.

(Y/n) rushed towards Scythe and flung his Rinkaku with a flurry of attacks. (Y/n) swung his tentacle like claws at Scythe, slashing and slicing his Rinkaku. Scythe, unfortunately being a Ukaku, Scythe easily out-speeded (Y/n). Scythe using his wings started also hacking at (Y/n). (Y/n) only just barely kept up to Scythe's attacks. He couldn't last long against Scythe since had kept slashing with speed. (Y/n) spotted that Scythe's footwork wasn't in tip top shape and decided to use that to his advantage. (Y/n) leg sweeped Scythe off his feet and sent his Rinkaku plummeting down to spear Scythe. *SHING* (Y/n) opened his eyes to see Scythe blocking the attack with his Ukaku. Scythe was in a chokehold because his Ukaku could only block one of four tentacles. While (Y/n)'s top right tentacle held Scythe's in place, (Y/n) sent his lower right tentacle at Scythe's hip. Scythe screeched in pain and angrily resisted my tentacle. Scythe kicked (Y/n) in the chest and hopped back up. (Y/n) and Scythe circled around in each other, about to rip each other's throats out. A beam of light suddenly came into to view and blinded (Y/n) which Scythe took this as the perfect opportunity to attack (Y/n). Scythe sent projectiles flying at (Y/n) which (Y/n) was helpless. They indented themselves in (Y/n), blood coming out of his mouth. (Y/n) grunted and fell back to a very angry Scythe.

Scythe: Finally! The moment I been waiting for! To finally kill you and take back my revenge.

Scythe started cackling in victory while (Y/n) started smiling.

(Y/n): I've already won.

Scythe: What?

Scythe looked at his feet and saw that (Y/n) tentacles wrapped his legs.

(Y/n): A real ghoul always watch's where he steps.

(Y/n) flung Scythe from brick wall to brick wall, causing quite the commotion as an news helicopter was recording all the action. Sirens echoed throughout out Tokyo and signalled (Y/n) had to leave soon. (Y/n) let go of Scythe and speared Scythe through the chest. Scythe coughed up a lot of blood with a massive gap in his chest.

(Y/n): This is the end for you.

Scythe tried to speak but only blood came out. Scythe slid off (Y/n)'s tentacle while smiling up at (Y/n). Suddenly, sirens became a lot louder and a car was just parked on just the outside of the alleyway. (Y/n) knew he couldn't let scythe be a specimen of the humans so (Y/n) put Scythe over his shoulder and booked it out if the back of the Alleyway. (Y/n) sprinted and heard some police shouting to stop running but the police couldn't do much. (Y/n) crossed the street, citizens coming to a halt and everyone shocked to have the Ghost pull up right in front of them. (Y/n) made it to the other side and climbed another roof. Sirens were know heard all over the place with helicopters sweeping the perimeter.

-Somewhere-

News reporter: It was just in. Ghost and Scythe had a deadly brawl on Ryder street. The two seemed very violently together and must of held a grudge. Ghost walked out as the winner but brung Scythe with him. Police are still searching for the Culprit and we will keep you updated. Jeff.

Mr Yoshimura poured himself some whisky with Yomo and Touka.

Mr Yoshimura: Ghost has really down a bold move, taking a ghoul out with that much commotion. *sips*

Touka: I thought scythe would of walked out victorious but Ghost won instead.

Yomo just sat there listening to both chat about Ghost and Scythe. Little did they know he knew Ghost's real identity...

*flashback*

(Y/n) was sweeping the floors after one day at work. (Y/n) recently did some Ghoul activity in the afternoon. (Y/n) stuffed his Ghost mask in his pocket as he didn't have enough time to return his mask. Yomo stood, watching (Y/n) sweep the floors and saw the infamous mask, hang out of (Y/n)'s pocket...

*flashback end*

(Y/n) saw Kai, waiting at the rendezvous point. Kai was watching Tokyo until he heard wet footsteps behind him.

Kai: So how did with the encounter with Scythe go?

(Y/n) just threw the body if his shoulders and Scythe coughed and grunted, barely alive.

(Y/n): Unexpected. How'd it go on your end?

Kai: Well, I didn't find the mansion, but I did found something that will help us predict his next move...
