Happy New Year my loves! I'm so sorry this chapter has taken so long, I've been so caught up in the holidays (and boys oops) that I didn't get a chance to finish it. I have so much in store in this new year and I hope you guys are willing to stick it out with me. This chapter's song is Favourite Girl by The Icarus Account because I'm shipping Methanie (Ethan and Melanie) so hard right now. Enjoy!

I got off the plane and stretched out. Sitting on a plane for several hours at a time isn't very fun.

I walk out of the terminal, keeping my head lowered to avoid anyone that would notice me.

As I step outside, I glance up to look for the car waiting for me, as per Paul's instructions.

I get in the car and start it up. I begin to drive, my hunger calling out to me.

"I'm so happy we've got the entire house to ourselves tonight." Ethan says, smirking as he pulls me closer to him.

I giggle as I wrap my arms around his neck, tiptoeing to peck him on the lips.

"The perks of your brother dating your best friend. Not both of us can stay in the house. It's too awkward." I say, shuddering at the picture of Ashton and Alli making out last week.

He laughed. "So what do you want to do?"

I think for a moment. "Honestly, I'm quite hungry. How about some Nandos? I haven't had it in a while."

Ethan smiled. "Sure baby. Let's go."

We grab our coats and slide on our shoes. I quickly grab the keys and we leave.

On the ride there, we talk about the latest book in English class, The Crucible, a book we both have read plenty of times.

"Well for the final essay I'm going to write about John Proctor and how he's the example of Miller's tragic hero. It's easy but effective for a 5,000 word essay." I say, glancing over from the wheel to my boyfriend.

"That's not bad. You should also discuss the similarities and differences between Miller's and Aristotle's tragic hero. And to make it better, you can compare Proctor to Hamlet. It's perfect." He says, turning up the heat in the car.

I nod. "What about yours?"

"It's on Abigail and how she manipulates the people of Salem." He says, smiling proudly.

I laugh. "You're such a nerd."

"Yeah, but I'm your nerd." He says, making me smile.

We pull into a parking and get out of the car, walking into the restaurant hand in hand.

A host directs us to our usual booth, the one diagonal from the crisp air of the front door, and we take our seats waiting for a waiter to come take our orders.

Of course we order Peri Peri chicken because it doesn't get better than that.

As we wait for our food to arrive, we discuss further on the topic of thesis statements and clinchers.

Sorry for switching povs so often but it's vital in this chapter!

As the driver lets me out, I stretch my arms back over my head to release some tension.

I walk into my long last love, waiting for the hostess to greet me.

"Hi, welcome back to Nandos Niall! When did you get back?" The hostess said, also a good friend of mine.

"Hey Tess. I got back a few hours ago. I was wondering if I could get a half of the Peri Peri to go?" I ask the beautiful blonde in front of me.

"Sure hon, let me go place that order for you. Take a seat." She said, disappearing to the back of the restaurant.

I take a seat on the bench closest to the door. Pulling my phone out of my pocket, I send a quick text to the guys letting them know that Operating Get My Girl was going to commence after I fulfil my hunger.

Sliding the phone back into my pocket, I lean my head against the glass window and close my eyes, trying to catch my breath.

I listen to the voices that fill the restaurant. I hear a mother yelling at her children to sit still. I hear guys talking about some girl from school.

At last I hear, the most beautiful laugh.

A laugh that brought a smile to my face as I opened my eyes.

A laugh all too familiar.

As I lean forward in my seat, I see her.

She's laughing, her head tilted back as she covers her mouth slightly.

She's changed much since I saw her.

Her hair was longer now, and she'd dyed it lighter. Her eyes twinkled with happiness.

As I get up to walk over, I notice her outstretched hand on the table.

Holding another hand.

I watch as she leans forward and presses her lips against the person seated across from her.

There's something about her that makes me turn on my heels and walk away.

She was happy with him, whoever he was.

And I was no one to take that away from her.

You guys there's only like two or three more chapters left. I'm gonna cry! :(
