Alex's pov

Al-Hey mom, can I go skydiving? No, you're right too dangerous. Never mind I'll go to a concert my friends invited me to."

P-Woah. Woah. Woah. A few questions. Where is it? When is it? Can I go? And is your girlfriend going?" Daniela walked in when she said that.

D-Wherever you think I'm going I'm not, I have to go with Schneider and Nessa to show her around LA."

She came to me and I put my arm around her waist and pulled her into my side.

P-What's the name of the concert." Al-It's called Bud E. Fest. It's like Coachella, but better for our age. A safe kid friendly Coachella." P-Okay, fine. You better not take your tracker off your phone or I'm sending Schneider to go get you." Al-I promise I won't. Can I go now?" P-Yes." Al-Thank you Mami."

Dani and I walked out of the building and she was meeting Schneider and Vanessa out front. Finn pulled up with Nora and Travis so I got in the car.

We got to Bud. E and there were vapes, juuls, cigarettes everywhere. I can't believe my mom believed me. Well I did say Bud. E like buddy.

We sat down and Finn passed me a vape. I've done it before in secret so I took it easy. Nora did one small hit and started coughing so she didn't do anymore and just went to the bathroom and FaceTimed MY girlfriend. If she finds out I'm dead.

An hour later, Nora never came back and I saw my mom coming towards us I sat down the vape and stood up to her and Schneider.

P-Let's go now." I didn't argue so I left. Thank god Vanessa and Dani weren't in the car when I got in. We went home in complete silence.

When we walked in the apartment, Daniela, Vanessa, and Elena looked very dissapointed. My grandma was at church with Dr. B so it's all good.

Al-You didn't have to drag me out of there." P-Yes! Alex, I did! And you know what, I'm glad that Nora did what she did, because if she didn't, you'd be getting high right now!"

Al-Nora doesn't have your number how would you know!" P-One. Tracker. Two. Your girlfriend." I rolled my eyes. I love Nora as a friend. I do, but I knew she couldn't be trusted at a place like that.

Dani went in my room and Vanessa and Elena went in Elena's room.

P-How many times, Alex?" Al-Look it's not a big deal!" P-How many god damn times?!" Al-Three! And I'm not gonna do it again okay! Now can I please speak to my girlfriend." She nodded wiping her tears after I yelled at her.

I went in my room and crouched down in front of Dani because she was sitting on my bed. Al- Look, baby I'm sorry. I'm never going to do it again. I promise you. I know you worry about my health and I'm sorry I let you down. I'll never forgive myself for that. Daniela, please, forgive me. You are the love of my life. You are my everything. I can't stand to lose you or have you mad at me." She nodded and hugged me. I kissed her cheek then her lips. I guess she didn't catch the fact I basically said I love her.

D-Promise?" Al-Promise. I just have to get rid of the vape in here." I looked in my deodorant and it wasn't there. My mom came in and saw me looking for it. She held it up when I turned around. P-Looking for this." Al-Mami, I was just going to throw it away. I promise." 

P-Alex, you also promised me you wouldn't do drugs. Now here we are. You are grounded for 4 months and counting." Al-Okay. I'm fine with that, but don't tell Abuelita. I will." She nodded and left.

A month later, Schneider's dad came to visit. He was really racist.

Lexi and Schneider came in a white, tucked in, shirt and black skinny jeans, ripped.  She had her hair straightened and in a slicked-back ponytail. I never realized how long her hair is. She had hoops in and mascara. Abuelita gave her some Scarlet Sunrise, because Lawerence Schneider loves everything formal.

P-Hey Schneider, hey Dani." D-Hello Penelope." Sch-Good afternoon Alvarez family. May I introduce to you my Father Lawerence Schneider." His dad walked in and I was shocked on how formal he is.

He shook hands with mom. La-Are you Avery?" P-Oh no." My mom shook her head. La-Thank god."

He shook hands with Abuelita and they spoke some Spanish. L-You're Spanish is very good." La-Escobar was an old friend." Wow.

I shook his hand and Daniela got very nervous. Al-Hi, I'm Alex. Nice suit." La-Thanks. A little boy like you made it for me." I smiled and nodded knowing that I can't do anything about it. My mom started taking her hoops off and Schneider held her back.

La-Daniela, where is that little sister of yours. Or is she in Mexico." I stepped closer to him and Abuelita pulled me back.

A-She was never in Mexico, sir. Remember, Cuba. There is a difference. She is upstairs getting ready." La-Well, let's go see her little boy can come too because he looks bored in this..... apartment."

P-I'm sorry Mr. Schneider, but he's grounded so he's doing laundry." La-No wonder. Carry on then." He left with Schneider upstairs and Dani stayed behind.

Al-I'm sorry, but that guy is a dick." P-Hes lucky I haven't beaten his ass yet. How do you put up with that?"

A-Oh trust me, I don't. Last time I saw him I yelled at him. I'm trying to contain it so I don't have an anxiety attack." P-Okay. That's good that you're trying. Alright, Mami, Alex go do laundry."

L-Everything is so different." Al-Yeah they got rid of the machines that shook so hard they moved across the room." L-Pero, that's how I knew the spin cycle was over."

L-Where do I put the quarters?" Al-You pay with your phone."

She looked in the pants pocket of one of Mami's pants before she washed them and found money in the pocket. As well as my drugs.

L-Your Mami is on the drugs!" I thought she was gonna find out it was mine.

Al-Yes! I mean... MAMI!!" I fake sobbed.

L-I will never stop yelling at her!" Al-How about you don't yell at her. You know, quiet mad. That's the worse kind of mad."

L-Si. A silent Cuban is the deadliest of Cubans. But first I will not stop yelling!" Al-Abuelita! It's mine!" There was a moment of silence. L-Is that why you were grounded?" Al- Yes. Mami didn't tell you the truth because I didn't want her to."

She kept ignoring me. It's been 30 minutes and there were 15 left so I called Alexa. She came down and she was in heels so Abuelita looked at her immediately.

L-What are you doing here?" D-Alex called." L-Oh, you mean this little drogadicto." Al-Please talk to me. I'll do anything." D-I'll cut my hair like Dora and Alex will shave his head."

L-Ay! No." She stood up. Al-Gracias a Dios."

I'm posting twice today because I'm trying to have a certain chapter up by Tuesday for the new episode, although the chapter isn't about the new episode. I may or may not post twice tomorrow (LA time) so we'll see. Enjoy!
