My eyes squinted as I was brought into the light. I hissed, loudly at the brightness, almost screaming when my skin started to sizzle.

A doctor walked into the room and strapped me down to a large, metal chair as I struggled to break free, unable to look away from the tray of rusty, pointy needles that were connected to a tube of blood.

There were about twelve needles within that small tray, all contaminated and used by the other patients who have also been experimented on in this hospital.

I panicked when the short, black haired middle-aged doctor wrapped a long, thick rubber band around my upper arm, until my veins were visible.

"Why are you doing this to me. Why!" I growled, feeling anger start to take over my body, while looking into the doctor's face. He, among all of the rest, is the one that I've despised the most.

For he was the one that took me away from my parents, after fooling them to thinking that I would be safe, if they simply left me with them.

They should have never signed that contract... They shouldn't have agreed on leaving me with these monsters...

As the air within my lungs slowly vanished, I started to feel lightheaded and with the last needle he injected into my flesh, I was sedated. The only words I could hear him say, as I began to drift away, were: "It's Hoseok's turn now," and that was it.

He shut the lights off and before my body was controlled by the medicine he used to sedate me with, I crawled all the way to the inside of my new cage, and collapsed, never knowing what became of me afterwards, or what was going to happen to Patient Jung Hoseok, who has been in here almost as long as I have.

-Third Person's POV-

"I'm so sorry, but the only thing that could save your daughter's life is to amputate both of her feet, or else the gangrene will keep spreading and it could potentially kill her." Namjoon frowned as he gave this unfortunate news to a mother and her daughter, who had gangrene on both of her feet, due to not wearing socks when she was out in cold, freezing weather, skiing.

The mother and daughter were absolutely devastated, and Namjoon felt worse, since he truly couldn't do anything else, but comfort them, as he walked out of the room to attend to another patient he had.

The last patient that was written on his clipboard: Jung Hoseok. He brushed his lab coat, and knocked on the door before entering his hospital room.

"Jung Hoseok?" He smiled, a bright, warm smile at the patient as he smiled back with joy.

This patient seemed to be a little bit different than the previous patients he's seen around the hospital. He looked very skinny, his hair was greasy, he had dark circles that nearly covered his cheekbones from beneath his eyes. But he wore a big smile for the doctor.

And just when the young man was going to greet him, another doctor rushed into the room with a tray and stopped him from attending the weak, haggard patient that was sat on the bed with a coloring book.

"I'll attend this patient, Dr. Kim. Please, would you?" Bohwa spoke in a polite tone, signalling the tall doctor to exit the room he stood in. Namjoon found it odd, but he complied since he was a very open-minded guy, and left the other doctor to attend to Patient Jung.

"Huh... That was weird. Why couldn't I attend to that patient? Maybe Bohwa specializes in Narcolepsy. Because, it was written here that this patient suffers from a neurological disorder. I could have handled him, I specialize in Mental Health care as well... How strange."

Bohwa secretly overheard everything Namjoon was saying, since he was spying on the man, waiting for him to leave so that he could work alone on Patient Jung, who was staring at him with fear.

"Dr. Bohwa... What are you going to do to me t-t-t-today?" The frightened man couldn't control his tongue, and his nervous stuttering lead him to biting a small chunk off, tasting the blood within his mouth.

Bohwa walked over to him with a bright grin on his face.

"Patient Hoseok... My, you've been one of the strongest patients here, aside from Patient XXX. How have you kept such a bright attitude in such a rundown place like this?" He questioned, holding the innocent male's hand, in a seemingly friendly way.

But his intentions were far from friendly, towards Patient Jung, or any of his previous patients.

Especially towards his most hated patient. Kim Seokjin: The patient he found the hardest to handle, but the easiest to experiment on.

And now, he was going to connect both experiments, by utilizing Hoseok's body.

"I smile because my mom always taught me to smile, even when things have gone wrong, Doctor. I can't wait to visit my family again. My mom, dad, big sister. Everyone!"

Hoseok's heart-shaped smile appeared on his face, just by thinking of seeing his family again. But soon, his smile faded away when he saw Bohwa was thumping on a syringe, watching a thick, murky liquid stir up from inside of it, bubbling the more he tilted it from side to side.

"Patient Jung, wouldn't you like to see your family sooner?" Bohwa was surprised when Hoseok began to shout out in pure joy.

"Yeah!! I would love to! Of course I would, I miss them so much, Dr. Bohwa." Bohwa extended his hand out to him after having adjusted the hospital bed, encouraging Hoseok
to sit up.

"What are you going to do?" Hoseok asked, looking down at his arm as Bohwa strapped a rubber band around it.

"This seems to have been used by someone else. There is blood droplets on it. And not dried blood... This blood seems fresh..." Without asking any further questions, the young man gulped, as Bohwa inserted a needle into one of his veins, injecting him with the murky liquid.

As the blood rushed through his body, Hoseok stood still, and started to yawn.

His Narcolepsy was starting to act up again, and eventually, he fell asleep, as Bohwa was inserting the murky liquid directly into his bloodstream.

"This is going to be easier than I thought it would be. Soon, your body is going to be perfect for our double experimentation: Turning you into a vampire just like Patient Kim. And then, we move on to phase 2. But for that, we need Joowon... He's the only one that knows what we're going to do with you and the other male."
