A tingling sensation lingered inside of Seokjin's tongue, as he licked Patient Ahn's blood off of the filthy floor. He didn't want to cause the woman more pain than she must already be facing in the afterlife she has now been sent to, due to her unfortunate destiny.

So he spared her body, and consumed the blood from within it, by puncturing her neck with his sharp and pointy fangs.

However, that still didn't stop Seokjin from getting blamed. When he was just about done savoring the flavor of blood that left his tongue wanting more, the vampire hissed when he saw someone was headed towards him.

It was one of the workers, carrying what would appear to be a taser. A doctor shot the gun directly at Seokjin's throat, electrocuting the vampire until he was knocked out unconscious, never knowing what ever became of Patient Ahn's final destination.

Several hours later, he awoke to the sounds of loud screaming, emitting from the rest of the mental patients within the room. Their arms were stretched out, hung from the outside of the cages they had placed them in.

The rooms all had doors that looked more like jail cells than proper doors. While Seokjin's room had a door that was completely closed, leaving nothing but a single, tiny square window that the doctors and nurses could see out of, to monitor him, as well as the cameras that were on the inside of the room, attached to the roof, where the padded walls wouldn't reach it.

That way, Seokjin wouldn't have a way of jumping all the way up to take the cameras down.

His dilated eyes rolled to the back of his head as he became dizzy and started to spin around the room, remembering what had happened to Patient Ahn.

As he squinted and slowly stood up from the floor, he heard a loud, screeching noise coming from the outside of his room, as if someone were sliding their nails down a chalkboard, but only much worse.

A sound so alarming, that even he feared it. The dark raven haired male used up what little strength he had within him to stand up, then pressed his chin against the tiny, metal window, to look outside of it.

Just as he caught the first glimpse of the asylum on the outside, he noticed that there were empty bowls lying on the ground, filthy and full of rotten food. The following thing that caught his eye was a row of hands that peered from the outside of the opened doors.

"Why would they open the doors to them... They've never let any of us escape our prohibited territories, unless it's to be taken into the operating room. And where is that dreadful, deafening noise emitting from?" As more and more arms peered out of the doors, the sick, delusional, and nearly deceased patients all started to reach out for the bowls of food that were being thrown at them, licking up every last bite, even if it meant they would have to lick it up from the diseased floor that the crumbs would fall to.

"Something isn't right. They aren't feeding them just to keep them full, or to poison them... It's far worse." Seokjin sensed that the food the patients were being bribed with, was a distraction.

A trap that the innocent, deformed and malnourished people fell into, without hesitation.

And Seokjin was in fact, correct. The gut feeling he had perceived was a warning, for him to look away before the scene unfolded right before his eyes.

But the vampire kept on staring outside of the small window, watching as a screeching sound echoed from the end of the deserted hallway. Soon, a tall, skeletal silhouette wearing a large, triangular shaped, copper mask that covered its entire head, and a heavy, blooded apron, was now gathering up the attention of the - now frightened - patients, who had stopped feasting on the crumbs lying on the ground.

Yet their war continued as they longed for more food. Some had been starving for so long, that they had no choice but to eat the dirty chipped paint from within interior of the hellish dungeons, each one of them was held captive in, for human experimentation done by the scientists.

Therefore, they didn't coward away, and only screamed louder, begging for more food...

But soon, as the eerie, dominant figure stepped towards them, it violently oscillated its arms back, and held a large weapon behind its back. Seokjin's eyes widened, he had never seen such a violent act ever done before.

As the patients growled, almost demonically, with the desperation for food, the monstrous creature held its arms up while gripping onto the dense, cruel weapon within his hands.

And before they could retreat their arms back, safely, the silhouette released the heavy weight it had on the large saw when brutally swinging his hands back down. The patients watched in shock as their limbs were ruthlessly mutilated, and chopped off completely, leaving their blood to gush out of their severely wounded bodies, as one by one, all fell back into their dark rooms, left to die, or live with permanent imperfections that would leave them disabled and disfigured for the rest of their lives.

Seokjin stared at the entire scene, with no facial expression.

No acceleration within his barely beating heart.

And no reaction towards any of the patient's blood-curdling screams. He was as cold as ice.

All that he did was drop to the floor, staring at the padded roof, where the light was emitting from.

"Animals... That's how we appear to them, and that is how they will always treat us." He thought, sucking in a puff of the contaminated air, as if he were breathing his last.

"There isn't a single normal person within this madhouse. Not a single one..." The man's eyes suddenly squeezed themselves shut, as an image vividly popped into his head.

The new doctor. The man who he knew nothing of, was now stuck on Patient Kim's mind.

"Except for him... He's different from the rest."
