6. Saved?

3rd pov

   "What happened here?" an imp said as he looked at the horrible sight.

   A little girl on the ground, probably dead, and another older girl looking to be in her late teens... also dead.

   "It looks like a pack of wolves, Lord Sesshomaru," the imp said.

   Taking in the sight of the usually happy child, and the woman who had insisted on taking care of his wounds, now dead. His sword, Tenseiga, started to pulse.

   "Oh my, m'lord, the sword, it's pulsing!" the imp exclaimed, suprised.

   "I know Jaken," Sesshomaru said.

   'Tenseiga, why do you insist on bringing these humans back from the netherworld?' he thought questioningly.

   "M'lord, what are you doing?" Jaken asked, suprised, but getting no answer. "Oh, I get it; you're going to test it on them," Jaken assumed, Still getting no response.

   Sesshomaru then swung the sword down at Jaken. He appeared to be split in two.

   "Get up Jaken," Sesshomaru demanded, looking down on him.

"WHAT?!" Jaken exclaimed. "How am I still alive? You sliced me in two."

   "This sword is useless to me. It is incapable of killing the living, it only kills the imps in the Netherworld," he explained, as he appeared to slice the imps off the childs body. He then crouched down and held the girl in his arms. His eyes widened as she shifted in his arms, eyes closing tighter, then fluttering open. The now alive girl smiled, but then sat up realizing there was someone missing.

   She looked around and saw the person she was looking for. She stood up and started running, she fell to the ground but got up snd ran again towards the woman who she had come to know as her best friend and sister.

   Sesshomaru had joined Rin. He was suprised, the upper half of her body was now in a bush, upon further inspection. Her head was bleeding slightly, her t-shirt ripped, and bruises scowered her body. Sesshomaru picked her up bridal style, getting her out of the bush. He then got down on his knees and looked over her body. Although she was presumed dead, she was gripping the dagger given to her by her grandpa. Her breathing shallow. She was on the bridge of life and death. The dagger started to glow a bright blue. The glow spread from the dagger to her body. Enveloping her in the bright blue glow, her wounds started to heal. The glowing dimmed till it was gone; the woman stirred in her sleep, eyes fluttering open. She began to take in her surroundings, noticing she was no  longer aching in the bush. She looked up, only for her wandering green eyes to meet those same piercing golden ones that glowed ever so brightly. My eyes closed as I fell into a deep sleep.

   "Is she alright?" Rin asked, worried.

   "Yes, she's just sleeping," Sesshomaru said, easing Rin's worries.

   "Oh, that's good to hear," Rin said, sighing in relief, now a big grin on her face.

Timeskip 3hrs

   "Lord Sesshomaru, when do you think she will wake up?" Rin asked, sitting on Ah-un with Aikétós' bag, as she was refering to the young woman still in his arms leaning into his chest, breathing softly, seeming at peace.

   A few moments after hearing the voices, she started shifting. Now cuddling into his chest, still half asleep.
A little later, she finally awoke to someone yelling.

   "Hey, it wasn't me master Jaken," Rin said giggling after she had gotten off Ah-un.

   "If not you, then who?" Jaken asked, annoyed with the girls antics.

   "I don't know!" Rin said giggling.

   "Ugh, where am I?" Aikétó asked, rubbing her eyes.

   "Finally, You wretched woman. It's about time you woke up, now get off of lord Sesshomaru," Jaken demanded, annoyed with the woman.

   "What?" she asked, slightly confused.

   "Yay! Aiké you're awake!" Rin said happily.

Aiké is Rin's nickname for her

   "You're in m'lords arms," Jaken stated, annoyed.

   "Oh, sorry Sesshomaru, and thanks for carrying me," she said, motioning that he could put her down. "And who are you?" Aikétó asked the imp.

   "Why you insolent girl. and how dare you speak to Lord Sesshomaru that way, show some respect! I'm the great Jaken, assisting the great Lord Sesshomaru," Jaken said.

   "In all honesty, I see nothing great about you," Aikétó said hiding her annoyance, now walking over to Rin giving her a hug.

   "Hey are you alright?" Aikétó asked Rin.

   "Yeah, but how about you?" Rin asked.

   "Yeah, I'm ok too. So what happened while I was out?" Aikétó asked.

Aikétó pov

   Rin then explained everything, and how she started traveling with Sesshomaru, and how she thought I would like to join them.

   "Oh ok, thanks for explaining," I said.

   Later that night I layed with Rin, both in my sleeping bag by the fire asleep, thinking about your adventures with Sesshomaru.

   Without you knowing, Sesshomaru was watching over you as you slept peacefully.
