Panicking, Harry watched as her long strands of hair were slowly shrinking, curling up. The blonde was now a honey brown; like her original hair. Sighing, he noticed that her complexion was completely normal again, she was absolutely beautiful. However, Harry's eyes widened in shock as he saw the runny droplets of blood suddenly harden.
"What the-" Harry mumbled, gulping as he picked up Hermione's- much lighter- body. He gingerly, held her in his grip, as he got up, searching for a stream. After walking for a few brief minutes, he saw a small creek up ahead.
Harry smiled, setting Hermione down in the soil, before muttering the same protective incantations. His attention fell to the bubbling cascade, as he heard the sound of slushing water; reminding him of the Black Lake at Hogwarts.
"Merlin..." He mumbled, sitting down beside the brunette, as he took in the lovely surroundings. "How long has it been?"
His mind began to drift, as he heard the relaxing sound of birds chirping in the distance. Grinning, Harry scooped up a handful of the fresh water, splashing it in his hair. He chuckled blissfully, as he realized his hair was normal once more.
Turning towards Hermione, he placed her head gently in his lap, brushing her curls out of her face with a bit of water. Harry, then softly began to clean the bloodstains up, being careful to not irritate her dainty skin. "Tergeo..." He murmured, watching as all the bits of blood flew into the air, disappearing altogether.
Harry continued lightly splashing her, hoping that the cold water would help revive her. Thankfully, after a couple of minutes, she regained consciousness. He watched as Hermione's eyelids began to flutter open until her chocolate brown eyes met his own. Smiling, she scanned over his appearance, noticing that he was himself once more.
"Thanks..." Hermione cooed; her voice was light and airy, as she looked up into his emerald eyes. It was at this moment that Harry knew; he was slowly falling for Hermione Granger's charm.
His hands traveled to her face, caressing her cheek softly. Beaming, Harry watched Hermione nuzzle her face closer, yearning for his touch.
"You alright?" He whispered; his voice was barely audible. The brunette nodded in response, her gaze still glued to him, for she didn't want to look away.
They grew silent, just enjoying the moment and the peaceful sound of the creek. Harry's hand remained on her cheek, while his other hand drifted to her shoulders, slightly raising her up. He slowly, pulled her against his chest, his hands crossing around her stomach.
"Harry-" Hermione mumbled, resting her head in the crook of his neck. Her stomach erupted in butterflies at their close proximity.
"Yeah?" He muttered, gulping as he felt her warm breath hitting his neck.
"Thank you...again." The brunette uttered, her breath shortening as she felt Harry place a small kiss on her bare shoulder- where her dress had torn.
"I'm sorry-" He whispered, his gaze searching her face for some reaction, but found none.
"Don't be..." Hermione replied, turning towards him, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Carefully, she wrapped her hand around Harry's neck, smiling as she felt his hand wrap around her waist.
Harry instantly crashed his lips against hers, feeling an immense sense of happiness. Hermione immediately responded, wrapping her arms around his neck, ignoring the fireworks that were exploding in her stomach. The kiss, which started off as slow and sweet, quickly became heated, as both of them began battling for dominance.
Harry pulled away, resting his forehead softly against hers, beaming. A smirk, however, slowly began to replace the smile resting on his face, causing Hermione to chuckle lightly as she watched Harry stand up. He walked towards the water, splashing Hermione slightly, which resulted in a faint squeal.
"Harry!!" She exclaimed, giggling as she dodged the water. Hermione swiftly splashed Harry, with the stream water as well, causing them both to break down in laughter.
"Hermione!" Harry mimicked her tone, smirking as he mocked her.
"Shut up..." She laughed, playfully slapping Harry, before turning away from him. Hermione loudly screamed when Harry picked her up, tossing her over his shoulder.
"Harry James Potter, if you don't put me down this instant then I'll-" Hermione demanded, wrapping her arms around his torso, so she wouldn't fall.
"You'll what?" Harry snickered, and Hermione could almost picture the smirk on his face. "Seems like you're pretty preoccupied right know..."
"Jerk..." She mumbled, sighing as Harry sat her down in the grass. Hermione frowned, noticing that she was completely soaked.
Harry chuckled at her appearance, sitting down beside her. Smiling, he pulled her on top of him, rolling with her in the grass. The brunette squealed once more, hiding her head in the crook of his neck. They finally came to a stop, Hermione resting softly on top of Harry, a smile pulling at the corners of her pink lips.
"You're so beautiful..." Harry muttered, his gaze locking with Hermione's before he eagerly crashed his lips against hers once more.
