"It's finally the last day of exams!" Taeyong cheered while walking with Jaehyun.

"You worked hard," Jaehyun said.

The boy nodded, "Thanks! Also, happy birthday, baby Jae!"

The man smiled widely, "You remembered."

"Of course. You want to eat outside? I'll treat you later as a celebration," Taeyong uttered.

"Eat outside?"

The boy nodded, "Yeah, like eat at a restaurant or something. Anywhere that you'd like to go."

Jaehyun hummed, "Do people normally call that a date?"

Taeyong's eyes widened and got flustered. He slowly blushed and cleared his throat.

"D-Depends on the person asking...Where did you even find that? From a movie again?" Taeyong shrugged, "You watch too much romance, Jae."

"So, is it a date?"

The boy fidgeted with his fingers and looked at the man beside him. He was waiting for an answer and acted like Taeyong didn't ask him. No words and the sound of their feet against the cemented street were the only noise while Taeyong think of an answer.

"If you want it to be a date, then it's a date," Taeyong uttered.

"But...does Taeyongie want it to be a date?"

The boy sighed and chuckled, "You learn so much already--Oh, we're here."

Taeyong grabbed his bag from Jaehyun. He smiled at the man who looked upset since he couldn't hear the boy's answer to his question.

"I'll see you later, okay? We'll eat dinner at a restaurant tonight so dress up nicely," Taeyong said, "Okay, Jae?"

Jaehyun slowly nodded and put up a brief smile, "Okay, Taeyongie."

"Okay. Bye!"

Jaehyun watched the boy run away from him. He just sighed before walking back to the apartment, forgetting to even give Taeyong a wave.

"Yong, is it odd for a hybrid to love a human?" Jaehyun asked to the cat who was laying beside him while they watch TV.

The cat didn't respond anything. He just swayed his tail and picked his cat.

"I think Taeyongie hates me. He's being weird. It's like he's avoiding me? I don't know...I'm not sure."

Yong just do whatever he wants to do while he just let the hybrid talk about anything. He doesn't even understand a thing. Maybe the name of his owner is the only thing that is registered in his small brain and everything means nonsense.

Jaehyun sighed.

"I read something in the internet that if someone's avoiding you, they probably doesn't want you. Does Taeyongie don't want me anymore? Or did he even want me in the first place?"

"Am I thinking of things too deeply? Maybe he's just too busy with the exams. He still sleeps beside me at night and lets me hug him while he reads...Maybe I'm just doubting Taeyongie and I shouldn't do that."

"Taeyongie said I'm the only one. Of course, I'm his boyfriend..."

Even though he believes he is Taeyong's boyfriend, Taeyong doesn't acknowledge him as his boyfriend. Still, he'll stay.

He'll stay, can he?

Cutting out his thoughts, Jaehyun looked at the his phone that was ringing. He grabbed and accepted the call, knowing who it is. He placed the phone against his ear.

"Ah, Jaehyunnie! Could you...turn to your dog form?"

Jaehyun furrowed his eyebrows, "Why? Your friends know that I am a hybrid, right? So it's fine if I stay as a human."

"Eh~ You haven't met this one."

"Then I'll meet him."

"Jae, just be in your form, alright?"

"I still have to walk you home, right?"

"My friend will walk me home today so stay there, okay, baby? I'll be home soon."

Jaehyun sighed, "Okay."

He couldn't help but get frustrated. He's too bothered with his thoughts. The man stood from the couch and cleaned the place while the cat slept.

By the time Jaehyun finished, he heard the door unlocking. He walked his way towards the door and didn't even think twice to open it to reveal who's outside.

Taeyong was surprised as the door opened and even got shocked when he saw Jaehyun in his human form. His eyes were wide and even forgot to breath. The man beside him furrowed his eyebrows.

"Your boyfriend?" the man asked.

Taeyong was about to explain but he was pulled by an arm around his shoulders. He was pulled by Jaehyun and just looked at his company with a stunned expression.

"I'm...Taeyong's boyfriend, Jaehyun. And you are?"

The man smiled, "I'm Johnny, his brother. I just thought we could hang out since it's been months since we had a meet up."

Taeyong looked at Jaehyun and put up a forced smile.

"By the way, you guys live together?" Johnny asked.

Jaehyun opened his mouth but he was stopped when Taeyong spoke.

"No...Actually, I was about to ask him to go home. Baby, I'll call you, okay? See you later."

Taeyong let Johnny go into the apartment. He was left with Jaehyun who he pulled out.

"You can walk around for a while. I'll call you when we're done, okay?"

Jaehyun couldn't believe he was pulled out of the apartment and Taeyong just left him. The door was closed infront of him. He doesn't know what to do. He couldn't even believe Taeyong did that. He was...in pain.

Maybe he's just Taeyong's thesis project.

The man just sighed and walked away from the apartment. He looked at his phone that was in hand before he shuts it down and put it in his pocket.

He might just wander off.
