Kaminari POV

We had finally arrived at the new hideout. Apparently, it was an old warehouse that was abandoned a while back. It was old and dusty. Dabi had told me that some of our members had gotten a case of the sniffles while I was away.
Yeah. A cold that could get worse and result to them not being able to move around properly and could lead to them to being stationary on their deathbeds as they breathe their last breaths. It's just all too familiar.
"Hey. We're back." Dabi called into the warehouse. I walked behind him and Toga in front of me and Kurogiri behind with my head down. It had been almost a month since I had seen my parents.

Narrator POV

Mr and Mrs Kaminari saw the door shut and walked towards their son. Mr. Kaminari was the first to open arms and hug Denki in pride. "I'm so proud of you son. You have no idea." He praised. His mother followed as she hugged both of her boys tightly. "You finally did it Denki. We knew you could do it." She nearly cried.
He didn't know what to do. So, just to keep up the image, he embraced the hug. Unfortunately, happy times were short-lived. Shigaraki stepped in and broke the happy reunion. "As much as I am as well excited about your return Denki, we need to discuss serious business."
Denki nodded as the rest of the villains made haste to discuss plans.

The Symbol of Peace had retired. And crime has started to slowly fill the streets. And the public is worrying. Perfect. Shigaraki has instructed Twice to go out and search for some 'suitable villains'. More members will be joining. Unlike their last meeting with Hero Killer:Stain, they had decided to use a more relatable approach. Desires. It wouldn't be easy, they knew, but, it was worth a shot.

It had been 2 weeks since the betrayal of Denki Kaminari. The parents of the students were calling in to check up on their kids.
Inko Midoriya was crying over the phone while Izuku tried to calm her down. Assuring that he was alright. Mitsuki and Masaru Bakugo were surprisingly calm when on the phone with Katsuki.
Everyone else had told their families that they were well and okay. But one student felt the complete opposite.

"Hey there Kyoka. How're ya hanging?"
"I feel horrible."
"I figured as much." Kyotoku sighed heavily. When Kyoka's parents first heard the news of a traitor on school grounds, they were scared for their daughters life like any normal parent would when their child was in danger.
"Listen, sweetheart. I know how heartbroken you are. I mean, he was the love of your life."
"You have no idea." Kyoka places her head up against the wall. All of the happy memories that once kept her soul at ease were now shattered. And with shattered memories came tears. "Hey, hey. Don't cry hun. I know things are looking dark for you right now, but trust me, they'll get better soon." Her father reassured. "How though?! The man that I loved turned out to be a villain this whole time and proceeded to play with my heart! I was such an idiot." She cried. "Maybe, you were right Dad. Maybe I am still too young to be dating. I'm still too naive."
"Hey. Don't say that. You're not an idiot Kyoka. You're an extremely intelligent girl. None of us would've known that Kaminari was the traitor if he hadn't revealed himself."
"Dad, you don't understand. That day, I asked him if it was all a joke. It sounds pretty sick, I know. But, it was all I had left. And you wanna know what he said to me?" She sniffled. "He said that he never loved me. Not even a little bit."
Her father was at a lose for words. My poor girl. "You...must be going through a lot right now. Difficulties trusting your friends and classmates right now."
"You could say that again." She sniffled. "Did I ever tell you how I had met your mother?"
"Yeah. You said both you and mom met at a music shop, right?"
"Well, there's more to that story."

Kyotoku POV

I used to work at a music shop. Pretty similar to our home right now. It was a normal day and I was waiting for another customer to walk through. And that's when I first saw your mother.
After I rang her up I had asked her to hangout some day. And of course, she said yes.
A little bit later, your mom and I decided to walk around the city for a bit. We chatted for a bit, and we really bonded over those times.

"Dad, what does this story have to do with my current situation?"
"Hang on, I'm getting there."

And then we started talking about our love life. Which, as you could imagine, was very awkward. Apparently, she had recently found out that her significant other was cheating on her. So she, as anyone would feel, felt betrayed. So, she had a hard time trusting anyone at the time. But, I decided to change that.

"So, ya see kiddo, things like this will happen. But just know that there will always be someone there to protect you and look out for you. Yeah, you'll have trust issues and you might have a hard time now, but eventually, you'll find someone. Your friends are always there." Her father stated. Kyoka laughed a little. "Thanks dad. I really think I needed that."
"No problem Kyoka."
As she looked over her desktop, she felt anger. Resentment. All of the happy pictures they took, the stuff that he gave her and what she gave him. All of it meant nothing now. But then, she caught a glimpse of something. A black choker from his hero costume. Which he had given her on there time at I-Island. She looked inside her closet and took out the dress she wore that night.

"Hey, Kaminari! Hurry up! We're gonna be late!" Uraraka called out. "Yeah! In a second!"
"What are you doing?" Jirou asked. "I think your outfit's missing something." He said. "What'd'ya mean?" She asked again. "One sec." He said as he pulled out a black choker. "Y-Your choker?"
"Yep!"
"You want me to have this?"
"I mean, what's the point of me giving it to you if you're not gonna wear it. U-Unless you don't want to wear it."
"...Thanks Kaminari." She replied as she hugged her best friend tightly.

Such happy memories in a single dress and choker. I think I'll keep it, she thought, It's not good for me. I know, but, I wanna keep a piece of him with me.
