The Girl in the Dump

There once was a girl that lived in a dump
Abandoned there when she was small,
Her parents decided, it's time she resided some where thats far from them all,
She wore a paper bag dress and cardboard box shoes, the smell of fresh garbage and slime that would ooze,
but no one would mention this rather strange feature
For on the back of her head, there lived a small creature
A peculiar thing with a pig like nose, and only one foot and seven little toes,
It would eat through the trash like it was it's last meal, it's favourite was mouldy potato skin peel,
This creature was part of this poor little girl, it popped out of nowhere beneath her blonde curls,
Her mother and father were saddened of course, but quickly they hid her and showed no remorse
How could they love this gross little thing, with a face so hideous forming under her skin,
So they left her to fend for herself in a pile, hoping someone one day won't find her so vile,
but instead she grew up till she was taller than most
And found her way back home on the coast
Her mother and farther were horrified
When they saw their daughter come up from the tide
They struggled to find anywhere to hide
as their daughter come up to the door with pride
"I have come back to you, mum and dad, I'll tell you all about the adventures I had"
And with a grin on her face and revenge in her eyes, she walked right in and told them some lies,
As she ended her tale with a sigh of relief, mum and dad looked at each other in disbelief,
"Our daughter she found us, but she can't stay here, she will scare all the neighbours if we keep her near"
But their daughter had other plans for the two,
She swallowed them whole with some freshly made stew,
I'm sorry mum and dad for all the confusion, I simply returned to fix the solution,
You see I'm not the one that was the monster, it was you both, you was the imposter and she left the house with a smile on her face, her neighbours waved proudly as she vanished without a trace.
