I had been waiting for a text from Jackson. We had started texting at 3 in the morning. Since, he was living in South Korea time it was probably the afternoon. His first text had been, "Hi." It had made me confused. One of the thoughts that popped into my head was, Something is wrong with him... I immediately texted him back, I don't care if its 3 am. I checked the date September 1, 2019. What is today? I know today is a celebration day, but what is it...? I wanted to check my calendar so I tiptoed off my bed and went down the stairs that connected me and Lily's bunk beds together.

I needed to turn on the light, but Lily was still asleep. Shit how do I not wake her up. I cringed hard as I tried not to trip over Lily's cochinero (1). There were heels and sneakers all over the floor. I almost tripped and fell on Lily's bed on the bottom. I reached over and turned on the light switch. I turned around and looked at Lily's bed, she wasn't there. For a second I was scared. Where had this bitch gone? Where is she..? I looked around and felt a tug at my hair. Oww shit! It didn't even hurt, I just got scared and almost yelled. Lily covered my mouth with her hand and pulled me to her bed. We both sat down. She had a towel around her head and her body.
"Omo, did you just come out of the shower?" I asked her.
"Yes, um, what are you doing awake? You were just asleep when I woke up." She mumbled as she looked down.
I crossed my arms, "Why are you awake right now?"
"Oh well Mom and Appa were arguing right now. They woke me up so I decided to take a shower. OMO TODAY'S JUNGKOOK'S BIRTHDAY AND IT'S OFFICIALLY BEEN 1 MONTH SINCE I BECAME AN ARMY!!!" She yelled.
