Lizzis POV

I finally sit down after cleaning all the dishes and I hear the phone ring right as I sit down. I walk over the phone and pick it up, the person on the other line says "Is this the Lizzi Williams?"

I say "Yes, this is she, who is this?"

The person on the line says "I'm Nurse Charlie at Mary Layne Hospital, I'm asking you, to come down to the hospital."

I say "Who for?"

Nurse Charlie says "Gerard Way, he won't give us his parents numbers but he did give us your number."

I say "I'll be there in half an hour."

Nurse Charlie says "Thank you Mrs. Williams" I hung up and yell "Kids, come down here a minute." I grab keys and grab my coat, the kids coming running and Andy says "Hi, Mom. What's up?"

I say "Well, Gerard is in the hospital and they asked me to come down to the hospital."

Andy says "How long will you be gone?"

I say "2 hours, probably. I'll text you if i have to stay later." I start walking towards the door and I put my coat on, then I head out the door.

Time skip to at the hospital

I take a deep breathe and walk inside, I walk to the front desk and say "Hi, I'm here to visit Gerard Way."

The nurse whose name tag said Caine says "Oh, Mrs. Williams. Long time, no see."

I say "Oh, Caine. Oh my god, you've changed so much since I was last here."

Caine says "Well, I was super young and well kids change you a lot."

I say "You have kids!?"

Caine says "I have a 5 month old son named Sam and I got engaged last summer."

I say "Whose the lucky man to calm down Ms. Know-It-All"

Caine says "Was I that know it all back in the day." I nod and she says "Jasie, she is the assistant head nurse at a near by hospital." Then we start walking, after what feels like forever of walking, Caine says "Well here's the room." I nod and walk in and say "Hey Gerard."

Gerard says "Hi Mrs. Williams, you're here to take me to your house."

I say "Gerard, I cant legally take you home."

Gerard says "Just take me home, please. I cant be here anymore"

I say "I cant." Gerard rolls over and faces the wall, Gerard says "Just leave if you cant do anything."

I say "Why cant you tell the staff your parents numbers?"

Gerard says "Because they'll be mad."

I say "Wouldn't they be worried about you."

Gerard says "No, they have don't like me."

I say "Of course you're parents like you, they love you."

Gerard says "No they dont, I promise you."

I say "I'll make you a promise."

Gerard says "What?"

I say "If you give me your parents numbers I'll try to get you out."

Gerard sighs and says "Sure, here xxx-xxx-xxxx" I nod and the phone starts ringing, a woman says "Hello, Ginny Western speaking, who is this?"

I say "Hi, this is Lizzi Williams, I was wondering if you know a Gerard Way?"

The woman says "Yes, why?"

I say "Well, he's in the hospital and he's refusing to tell the staff a guardians number."

The woman says "Can you please stay with him until I get there."

I say "Sure." I hung up and I say "Who's Ginny?"

Gerard says "She's my social worker."

I say "You have a social worker, why?"

Gerard says "I'm in the foster system." I nod and we sit quietly until Ginny gets there, she walks in and says "Hi, thank you so much for watching Gerard for me."

I say "Its okay. Gerard's the best"

Ginny says "So what happened for him to end up here?"

I say "I dont know, I mostly spent like 10 minutes convincing him to tell me." She nods and I leave as on queue, then Ginny says "Hey, can you stay the night with him, I can't stay tonight and I just-, can you stay?"

I say "Sure." She nods and says "I need to ask him some questions and in about 20-30 minutes can you come back." I smile and nod.

Time skip

Ginny comes down to the waiting room and says "I really have to leave now but thank you for staying."

I say "Its fine, I hope you have a nice night." She smiles and waves as she walks away, I walk up to Gerard's room, I knock on the door and he says "Come in."

I say "Gerard are you okay buddy?" He shakes his head and I say "Why?"

Gerard says "Its nothing." I walk over to his bed and say "You wouldn't be upset if it was nothing."

Gerard says "I just feel like a burden right now, I woke up Ginny in the middle of the night then I made you stay here with me."

I say "Gerard, Ginny how long has she been your social worker?"

Gerard says "Since I was in the foster system."

I say "How long have you been in the system?"

Gerard says "Since I was 4"

I say "You're 14, right." He nods and I say "She's been in your life for about 10 years, she definitely cares for you."

Gerard says "She used to take me and my-, she used to take me in whenever I would get kicked out of a home."

I say "What social worker takes in kids that arent her own." Gerard smiles and says "Gin says she loves when we come to her house."

I say "Why?"

Gerard says "She isn't married and she has no kids, her family lives in Canterbury, UK and she has no pets, she sometimes gets lonely so when we come over she gets excited."

I say "Why doesnt she take you in."

Gerard says "She can't because she doesnt have a big enough house." Then he turns his head and stays quiet.

A/N - Sorry for the weird ending. Secondly I'm sorry for the month long break, but I had writer's block and a life that is kinda busy.
