At around 6 o'clock the next morning we left for California.
We arrived at my grandparents house at around 3 o'clock.
Me and Harper had fallen asleep in the back of the car.
Mom:Girls wake up we're here!
Taylor:Wait we're already here?
Dad:Yes now come on your grandparents are waiting.
LA was just as beautiful as people say it is. Grandma Ruby and Grandpa Sam moved here a few years ago and we've never had the time to come see the city until now.
Grandma Ruby: Girls it's so good to finally see you again!
Taylor and Harper: Hi grandma hi grandpa!
Grandpa Sam: Girls it's been too long.
Mom:Ok girls now we need to unload the car.
Mom:Then we can all catch up.
We unload the car and grandma and grandpa help me and Harper get settled in our room for the week.
Grandma Ruby:Ok girls so tell me what have you been up to lately?
Harper:I've been getting straight As in all my classes and I joined the dance team.
Grandma Ruby: I always knew you would end up being a dancer. What about you Taylor?
Taylor:Well I've been getting straight As too.
Grandma Ruby: that's all? All you've been doing is getting straight As?
Taylor:I've also been writing some songs and working on my music.
Grandma Ruby:Can I hear some of it?
Taylor:Not right now I don't really want to sing right now.
Harper:Taylor doesn't really have much of a social life grandma.
Harper:She just writes in her song book and never shows anyone any of her songs.
Grandma Ruby: So you don't ever go out with Harper and have fun?
Harper:No grandma Taylor doesn't do fun.
Harper left the room to go help mom and dad move into their room.
Grandma Ruby: Taylor what's this all about? What's going on?
Taylor: I don't know grandma I just feel like I have more important things to do with my life then go out all the time.
Grandma Ruby: Taylor you don't plan to spend your whole trip here in the house do you?
Taylor: Actually yes I was planning on doing that.
Grandma Ruby: LA is so full of adventure and opportunities. You'll never know that if you don't go look at what's in front of you.
