The morning after we got back home from LA.

The day of the dance.

I stayed in bed pretty much all day.

Harper came in my room and tried to cheer me up.

Harper:Taylor I know you miss him.
Harper:But laying around all day crying isn't going to make you miss him any less.
Harper:He gave you his number why don't you just call him?
Taylor:I can't.
Taylor:I can't hear his voice right now.
Taylor:It's too soon.
Harper:Well then come to the dance with me.
Taylor:And third wheel with you and your date?
Taylor:No thanks I'm good.
Harper:I can just cancel my date and go with you.
Taylor:No you don't have to do that.
Harper:Please Taylor just come with me...we don't have many school dances left.
Taylor:Ok I'll go but don't wait up for me if I slip out early.
Harper:I completely understand if you leave early.

I didn't want to go to the dance I really didn't but I also couldn't sit there and think about Blake any longer.

I had to get my mind off of him.

So I picked out the best dress I had, got my hair and makeup done and went downstairs to take pictures.

Mom:Girls you look beautiful!
Dad:My little girls aren't so little anymore.
Taylor:Dad we'll always be your girls.
Harper:Come on Taylor we have to go or we'll be late.
Mom:Taylor are you sure you're ok to go?
Taylor:I'm not ok yet...but I will be.

We got to the dance and there was so many people there.

Everyone was dancing and laughing.

People stared at me as I walked in.

I felt so uncomfortable...I felt like I did something wrong.

Harpers bestfriend Mary walked up to me.

Mary:So where's Blake?
Taylor:He's back home now.
Mary:Yea I'm sure he is.
Mary:Lets face the facts you ruined Blake and Brookes relationship.
Taylor:No I didn't.
Mary:Then explain why Blake broke up with Brooke?
Taylor:I don't know Mary..can you just leave me alone?
Mary:I wouldn't want to talk to you anymore anyway...you pretended you were the mystery girl and that's messed up.
Harper:Mary stop!
Harper:My sister did nothing wrong she did not break that relationship up.
Harper:Blake made that choice himself.
Harper:Maybe he realized he wanted something real.

I can't believe my sister just did that.

Taylor:Thanks Harper but you didn't have to do that.
Harper:Yes I did and I hope she didn't bother you.
Taylor:You know I thought I could take this but I don't think I can.
Harper:Do you want me to take you home?
Taylor:No I'll catch a cap or call mom or something I'll figure it out you just go have fun.
Taylor:Bye have fun.
Harper:I'll see you when I get home.

I was walking out of the gym when I heard a familiar voice say my name.

"Taylor...Taylor Grey?"
It was Blake...

Blake:Taylor I know you're here.

The crowd of people opened up and a spotlight shined in my eyes.

Blake:There's some things I forget to say to you back in LA.
Blake:For everyone here who doesn't know Taylor on a personal level you're missing out.
Blake:I lied...and I had Taylor lie for me
Blake:We didn't just write a song together.
Blake:Taylor is the mystery girl I was with.
Blake:Taylor wrote that song all on her own.
Blake:I just sang it to get Taylor's work out there.
Blake:We did spend time together when we were in LA.
Blake:I took Taylor to a place I wouldn't take anyone else.
Blake:And it was the best three days of my life...
Blake:And I wish it didn't end the way it did.
Blake:Taylor is the sweetest, most beautiful, most amazing person I've ever met in my life.
Blake:And I want to be with her for the rest of my life.
Blake:And I-
Blake:I'm in love with Taylor Grey.
Blake:I'm in love with everything about her.

In that moment my heart stopped...it's like me and him were the only two people in that room.

Blake:Taylor look...I know I messed up.
Blake:Letting you walk off that beach without telling you I was in love with you was the biggest mistake I've ever made.
Blake:But if you give me a chance to show you how much I love you I won't mess it up this time.
Blake:I don't care if I have to pick up my whole life and move to Utah.
Blake:I'd go anywhere for you.

Blake:I wrote this song for you Taylor.
Blake:I never knew if I'd get to song it to you or not...
Blake:And if Reece and George will come out and help me I want to show you how much you mean to me.

The music started playing and Blake started singing his song to me.

The song was beautiful and he wrote it for me.

I felt like all of this what just a dream.

When the song was almost over he walked off stage towards me and grabbed my hand.

After the song was over he looked at me and said:

Blake:So...will you give me a second chance?
Taylor:How could I say no to that?

The whole gym started clapping and screaming.

After all the commotion settled down me and Blake walked outside through the school garden.

Taylor:You came all the way to Utah huh?
Blake:I would go to mars to get to you.
Blake:I love you Taylor.
Blake:Oh my gosh is feels so good to say that to you.
Taylor:I love you more.

Blake:So how is this going to work?
Taylor:I guess we'll have to do long distance till I graduate.
Blake:We can take turns staying with each other for a week at a time.
Blake:And during the summer you can come on the road with me and the boys.
Taylor:I'd love that.

I had never felt so loved by someone before.

We kept walking through the garden when all of a sudden Blake stopped and looked into my eyes.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing his big beautiful brown eyes.

He pulled me closer to him.

He leaned in and he kissed me.

Then he looked into my eyes again and said.

Blake:I love you and I'll always love you.
Blake:You're the one I want to be with for the rest of my life.
