《Chapter 8 : Representatives》

Tenshi's POV

W-woah... w-who is that? I saw a white haired man... he's saying something, I can't hear it. Once again I couldn't control my body in the dream. Another warning? I thought the nightmares already stopped... I guess I thought wrong...

I didn't know what to do, all I could think of is to know who was in front of me...
I got closer, then he fell to the ground... not conscious.

Was he killed? I started shaking... I didn't really feel anything about it but... I couldn't control myself. I was crying. Is this person important to me? Did he die?

I got closer and closer to whoever was lying down, I couldn't stop, couldn't move away, I couldn't do anything at all. When the person was in front of me, I knelt and held his face. He had a mask on so I couldn't really identify who it was. I tried to removed the mask, then I woke up.

When I woke up, Aito wasn't in his bed. 

"I wonder where he went" , I said

Then suddenly someone enters my room, its Aito! "I made you breakfast!" He said

Ah, it smells good, this kind of feels nostalgic... b-but I need to tell him about the dream... how should I say thi- PANCAKES?

"There's no training today btw" , he said
"W-what?, why?"
" The race leaders have a meeting today, they're gonna find out this generation's representatives..."

Apparently every 30th of June , and any year, the slates in the lab of Marielle shows who will be the new representative. Each race has a representative, any of the generation's representative can fulfill the prophecy or the legend, but non has still completed it... some even lost hope about it, or some calls it a rumor, but they still continued the tradition because they really had no other hope to look into than that...

"I'm pretty sure you're Sakerarenai's representative" Aito said...

I really didn't want to be their representative since the beginning, nor overall, be a representative. It takes too much time and responsibility, its like you're carrying the weight of the world.

"Y-you can do it" Aito said , he smiled at me... how can I resist that smile...

Tenshi hugs Aito

"Thank you" as much as I really didn't want to support that idea, I had to

We continued to eat breakfast, it was really good, he cooks so well...

"What do you wanna do Tensh?"
"Maybe we should get to know our team mates?"
"Sure! Who though?"
"Anyone BUT OWARI... please"
"I understandddd hehe" Aito said while laughing

The first room we went to was Mikasa's

Aito knocks on the door

"Mikasa! You doing something?"
"W-wha? Who's there"
"Oh! This is Aito! I'm with Tenshi! We're kinda bored so we decided to go hang out with our team's members!"
"O-oh!!! What d-do we d-do?" Mikasa said while stuttering
"Maybe play? I don't know hehe" 
"I have a switch, Nintendo switch X. Maybe we could play NieR:Automata" I requested
"Can you open the door tho? It's kinda awkward out here hehe" Aito asked

Mikasa opens the door then we went in the room and switched the console on.

"This game is really sad, I've seen books about it in the ancient store and it was very cool. I never got to play it thoughhhh" Aito said, very hyped to play the game
"Ahhhh you have the newest version ever of the switch that's why you could play the old one eh? Coooll!!! Where'd you get it?" Mikasa asked
"The ancient store, a certain friend gave it to me" I answered
"Who?" Aito asked

I didn't answer. The atmosphere went awkward with silence. 

"O-oh! Its okay if you want to keep it for yourself! Sorry if I touched some personal details" Aito said

Mikasa looked worried tho but she tried to hide it with an awkward smile. After that, we started playing.

Mikasa was so nice, even if we sucked in the game, she would always cheer at us, and like in battle, she also is a great strategist, she makes so many plans and all of them are so perfectly made... even if she's not really in the high ranks of the race, she's very smart... I guess power and brains can't really be determined by race ranks, yet this world still lives up to that rule...

After playing for hours, we actually finished the game! In fact, it was actually morning already! We spent the whole night playing, trying to finish the game.

Aito was crying to the song after the game, Mikasa, for the first time, looked sad. She didn't try to hide it anymore.

"H-hey guys... playing with you guys were fun! Thanks!!!" Mikasa said
"You okay? You sound down?" Aito asked
"You were just crying to the game what do you mean?" I told Aito while laughing
"W-well its just the story in the game... I could kinda get my past flashbacks while playing it..." Mikasa said
"O-oh! Its okay if you can't tell us, we totally understand! but if you wanna tell us... you can! We're wide open!" Aito said to Mikasa, comforting her
"W-well... its just that... My parents left me when I was a child then someone took me in, just to serve them. I was always bullied by the siblings there, I was always beaten up by their parents as well, and I was always called 'weak' and all other insulting words. After their child, or the siblings grew older, they didn't have any much use of me anymore so one day, we went somewhere then they just... l-left me there" Mikasa said while shaking... she started tearing up
"H-hey... just know you didn't deserve that okay?" Aito told Mikasa, trying his best to comfort her
"W-well... like the robots in the game, they were just left with a mission, even though... their mission in the end was all for nothing... BUT! Hopefully that's not gonna happen to me as well!" Mikasa said while wiping her tears

Aito kept on comforting Mikasa and eventually, we went back to our dorm.

"Dang... even the nicest and happiest person I know has the saddest story as well... may not be the worst but... I just didn't expect that" Aito told me when we arrived in our dorm
"I expected this already, a-lot of us has pasts that we don't really deserve ever since the Sakerarenai's started a war, but it's not like we can do anything about it" I told Aito
"Y-you're right-" Aito said but then was interrupted by the mic of the academy 

"WE WILL BE ANNOUNCING THIS GENERATION'S REPRESENTATIVES..."

"oh-" Aito sighed
"Oh yeah I forgot about that" I said

"SAKERARENAI'S REPRESENTATIVE, TENSHI"

What?!?! Why me??!?!?!?!

"OooOoO congratsss!" Aito told me like it was a good thing... I smiled at him since... he looked happy

"MIENAI'S REPRESENTATIVE, KAKUSARETA MOKUTEKI
KANRI TUNO'S REPRESENTATIVE, KI HIKARI"

"woah, our teams the power house!" Aito said

"This is wierd... I - IM siCk" I said jokingly 
"wOaH! Everything will be fine, we have training, so we could be stronger! You can handle this, I'm pretty sure about it!" Aito told me while patting my head

"SHIZEN'S REPRESENTATIVE, ISHI
KISHI'S REPRESENTATIVE, OWARI BIRU"

"What the hell? Almost all out team mates are representatives"
"heh, we're the powerhouse" Aito said

"JIKKEN'S REPRESENTATIVE, KAGAKU-SHA
AIRASHI'S REPRESENTATIVE, KASSHOKU HIKARI
KIBO'S REPRESENTATIVE, AIKA"

W-what? Aika? Did I hear that right?!?!

"You okay?" Aito asked me, he noticed my change of expression

"y-yeah its nothing" I said
"You know who Aika is?"
"Y-yes... she's ... nvm... dont ask about it..."

"LASTLY, WASURETA'S REPRESENTATIVE, AITO AIDA"

" W H A T ? " Aito said, surprised

I look forward for tomorrow.
