Chapter 4

~Kellin's POV~

I had driven home in complete silence, far too consumed with my thoughts. I was really skeptical about being invited to a Sykes party, but you never know, it could be fun.

I park my beaten down car in the driveway and walk silently to the door.I walk in being greeted by Aunt Kloe.

"How was school Kellin?" Aunt Kloe said with a grin.

"Just like usual.. except i got invited to a party" I mumble the last part, wishing I hadn't said anything.

"How fun, I remember going to party's at your age." And with that she continued folding laundry as I made my way to my bedroom.

Today was tiring, and as soon as my head hit my pillow I was fast asleep.

I walk through the halls without caring and accidentally run into someone. I attempt to ignore it and walk straight past the crowd of people, but I'm stopped by strong hands. I feel my back collide with the lockers. I look up to an unrecognizable face thats covered with anger. My face begins to sting after the stranger punches the side of my face. who is this, and why is he making this such a big deal? I hear a familiar voice in the background of the scene and turn to face none other than Vic. Vic pushes the man off of me making him fall to the ground. He punches him in the gut, and then rushes over to me.

"Are you okay?!" He caresses my face with care.

"I-I'm fine" I state simply.

I look away as my cheeks begin to heat up, but far too soon my face was pushed back forwards. Vic rests his forehead on mine and looks into my eyes. He lightly presses his lips to mine, then moves away far too fast for my liking. Vic begins to walk away and vanish into the distance. As cliche as it sounds, that kiss made fireworks go off in the distance and I felt a spark when it happened.

A crack of thunder in the distance makes me wake up from my odd dream. I try comprehending what I had just dreamt about, but nothing seemed to make sense. I had never had feeling for Vic... that is until now.
