3rd persons pov

Haechan opened his eyes, waking up from his slumber. Laying on the bed he tried to keep his tired eyes open...soon he got up from his bed and walked over to the bathroom, put on his uniform and looked himself up and down from the mirror in front of him. He sighed deeply and nodded to himself trying to convince that everything that was bound to happen today would end up okay.

Crouching down Haechan tied his shoelaces trying to control his shaky hands. He closed his eyes the feeling inside of him made him go insane. trying to calm down his racing heart, he heard a knock outside of his room. Haechan stood up and opened the door seeing Jaemin in front of him.

they looked at each other straight in the eyes holding a dead silence, Jaemin swallowed before speaking up "it's time." he said voice full of nervousness.

"I guess it is." Haechan stepped out from his room leading the way towards the cell corridors.

As they were walking towards Jeminah's and Ten's floor, they heard someone crying painfully pleading for help repeating the same word over and over again.

Jaemin tried to stop the other soldier boy, but Haechan shook his head. "Come on Haechan, you have heard those pleads every day for so many years, why now?" Jaemin said trying to keep walking.

"We can't ignore that Jaemin," Haechan said sounding guilty.

Haechan walked over to the cell where all the painful cries came from. "Hey, what's the matter?" he asked quietly behind the door. rustling noises were heard on the other side of the door suddenly a weak voice spoke up "M-my grandson, he w-was attacked an- and when he c-came into the cell he, he collapsed o-on t-the ground...he's not responding or anything." the person on the other side explained crying. Haechan looked around before opening the door. He stepped inside and was met with an older woman who was crying next to a passed out boy.

Haechan looked at the unconscious one, he was pale but still breathing. He walked out of the room and saw Jaemin leaning against a wall. Haechan sighed, walked to her friend and slapped the other ones face.

"what do you think you are doing?" Haechan asked angrily, "go get Ten and come back here immediately, don't forget to cover his face!". Jaemin looked shocked at his friend but quickly ran off to the next floor.

Haechan walked back to the room, trying to calm the elder woman

"It's going to be okay, I know someone who can help your...grandson, he will be here soon." Haechan tried to sound convincing. the woman stopped crying and looked up at the young soldier.

"you are a soldier?" she notified sounding weary, "why would you-?".

Haechan sighed "I don't accept the things that are done in here either." he paused "and I hate this uniform as much as you do." the woman nodded looking around unsure what was happening.

" what's your name?" Haechan asked the older one..."My name is Ayla." the older woman named Ayla answered.

Suddenly the door opened making the two conscious ones in the room flinch.

"Jaemin, what is going on?" a confused sounding Ten was heard. his face was covered with a piece of fabric making Haechan lips curl up just a bit. "sorry, you were needed in here." Jaemin whispered and walked outside closing the door behind him.

"Ten, help her grandson...please," Haechan said. Ten sighed and nodded, he walked over to the boy and started examining his bruises and moved him into a lateral position. Ten faced Haechan and the elderly one explaining the situation "he will wake up soon, don't worry." he said to the woman

But the elder one looked confused again  "a prisoner helping a soldier?" she said curiously.

Ten looked at Haechan "you are ruining our chances to get out, you know...time is running." Haechan shot up a look at Ten but it was too late. "wait, you are trying to escape?" the woman asked. Haechan and Ten were speechless not knowing what to say. "Please take my grandson with you, please." the older woman started begging. "please, please, I want him to have a life outside of this prison, they will kill him sooner or later...he shouldn't die that young!"

Haechan looked down the feeling of guilt just kept growing and growing.

"Haechan, a word..." Jaemin opened the door gesturing him to come outside. Ten sat down on the floor waiting for the unconscious boy to wake up.

"what?" Haechan asked while looking around.
"You are not thinking of taking him with us, are you?" Jaemin asked...Haechan sighed
"I don't know...I want to help them."
Now it was Jaemin's turn to sigh.
"We don't have much time left, how can we get 3 prisoners out plus the two of us and not draw attention also that boy has been here long enough that everyone can recognise him!" Jaemin whisper shouted.

"We could hide half of his face or kill him, too." Haechan started to think of a new plan.
"Haechan, just stop, that won't work!"
Jaemin said frustrated. "No, you stop...it's just a one-person more!" Haechan defended.
"exactly, one person we could leave!"
Jaemin answered back. "I thought you wanted to help other people?!" Haechan snapped at him. "of course I want to help, but have you thought that the situation we are getting into, can kill us all?! I wouldn't want to risk it." Jaemin answered
"Then why on earth did you get into this at first place?!" Haechan asked getting angrier and angrier but before anything else could happen Ten peeked his head out from the door.
"Sorry to interrupt but the boy is waking up." he said and went back to the room.
"Just great" Jaemin said irritated, Haechan glared at him and walked back to the room.
