"So what are you two going to do? Allen could probably get away without a Meister, but won't you need a weapon?" Maka asked, leaning against the wall as Echo stubbornly did the dishes alone. Echo shrugged. "Hopefully I won't need to be here very long. There's no way in hell I am ever taking on another weapon."

Maka blinked. "Why's that?" Echo shook her head. "It doesn't matter. Anyway--ah!" she broke off with a cry and swore colorfully as she cut herself with a steak knife. "Echo, hold on a sec, I'll get the first aid kit!"

In Soul's room, the two white haired weapons were talking. "So what are you going to do without a Meister? I'm sure that Echo--"

"Ah, n-no. I'm fine. I don't need a Meister." Soul blinked at the swift interruption. "But--"

"Really, Soul, I don't need a Meister." Allen assured him. "I've made it this far without one. Besides, I'd hold them back." Before Soul could ask what he meant, there was a loud cry and colorful swearing. The boys darted into the kitchen to find Maka darting to the bathroom and Echo holding one of her hands and swearing violently.

"What happened?" Soul demanded. Maka came back. "She cut herself."

"Son of a fuck! Your ability to bleed easily has rubbed off on me! Fuck! Shit! Fucking pussy ass bitch fuck shit dammit balls hell holy fuck son of a bitch holy hell FUCK!" Echo swore.

Allen and Soul dived behind the couch and peered above it, silver and red eyes wider than plates. "Scary!" The two mumbled. Maka grabbed Echo's hand while she swore colorfully. The blond Meister whistled. "You cut yourself pretty deep." While Maka took care of Echo's hand, the boys sat on the couch to channel surf on the TV.

Echo, hand dealt with, stretched. "I'm gonna hit the hay." she stated. "See you guys tomorrow."

"Later."

"See ya."

"*snore*"

Everyone turned to stare at Allen, eyes twitching. "He's asleep." Echo noted. She rolled her eyes and threw him over her shoulder before carrying him to his bed. Soul and Maka exchanged a glance. Maka sat down.

"Okay, what's on?"

*Morning*

Echo sat up, running a hand through her platinum blond ponytail. "That dream again..." she mumbled. She groaned and sat up. She stood up, then immediately sat back down as a coughing fit overtook her. She swore and shook her head as it passed.

"You okay?" It was Allen. Echo waved a hand. "I'm fine. Something caught in my throat, that's all." She walked into the bathroom, clothes in hand, and turned on the shower, quickly washing up before drying her hair, getting dressed, and walking out.

"Whelp. Let's try this whole school thing, shall we?"

....This is not going to end well.

I am so sorry for the short chapter. Normally I would have typed several chapters so that if I fell behind I could just post a buffer chapter but....
