bangchan tried to count each freckle on felix's face as he was sleeping.

he gave up halfway through since there was so many and started to play with felix's hair.

"i'm not a cat," felix murmured, eyes still shut.

bangchan smiled. "your hair is just really soft."

felix opened his eyes and smiled sleepily at his husband. "well, good morning."

"morning, lix."

felix stretched, "how long have you been awake for?"

"just half an hour."

the bedroom door burst open and a four year old, blonde haired child ran in.

bangchan opened his arms and the boy climbed inside.

"morning jasper!" bangchan hugged his adopted son.

"morning christopher!"

jasper then climbed on top of felix. "morning felix!"

"morning jasper," felix ruffled jasper's curly hair. "did you sleep well?"

jasper nodded. "yep!"

felix smiled in adoration.

a year after felix and chan got married they adopted jasper and they have raised him since he was a baby.

"excited for our trip?" bangchan asked.

"yes! i've practising how to say hello in korean!"

felix smiled. "go on."

jasper's chubby cheeks went red as he ducked his head in felix's kneck and mumbled the korean greeting.

"aw!" bangchan clapped his hands. "well done!"

felix kissed jasper's forehead. "well done, baby!"

jasper lifted his head up and smiled. "can we have breakfast now?"

"only after we brush our teeth," bangchan said.

jasper climbed of the bed and ran as fast as his little chubby legs could carry him.

"he's too cute," felix cooed as he got out of bed.

"i know," bangchan smiled.

the couple made the bed together and went inside their ensuite bathroom to do their morning routine.

jasper joined them shortly.

"i brushed my teeth!" jasper pointed to his little teeth.

bangchan nodded as he couldn't speak while brushing his teeth.

once the couple finished, felix picked jasper up and placed him on his hip and then he and chan made their way to the kitchen.

"what shall we have today?" bangchan clasped his hands.

"pancakes!" felix and jasper cheered.

"pancakes it is," chan said. "but felix won't make them. why is that, jasper?"

jasper giggled. "because he burnt them last time!"

felix rolled his eyes. "are we seriously still talking about this? i can make other things you know."

"we'll always talk about the burnt pancakes, baby." chan chuckled as he got everything he needed to make the pancakes.

felix sat jasper down on the kitchen stool. he swung his little legs, happily as he waited for breakfast.

"what should we have for toppings, jasper?" felix opened the fridge. "anything you want."

"strawberries!" jasper exclaimed. "i love strawberries."

"could you sort out the toppings while i'm doing the pancakes felix," bangchan said.

"i will. i won't burn anything this time. and anyways, my cooking has improved!"

"sure it has." bangchan chuckled. "we're going to have a nice breakfast before we leave for korea in the afternoon."

"christopher? felix?"

christopher and felix turned around and smiled at their son.

"yes, jasper?" bangchan said.

"...will they like me?"

felix furrowed his eyebrows. "who, baby?"

"will my uncles like me? uncle jisung, minho, seungmin, hyunjin, woojin and jeongin."

bangchan smiled. "of course they will! why would you think overwise?"

"because...because i'm not korean. i'm just british and i can't speak any korean."

bangchan turned the stove of and made his way to his troubled son.

"jasper." bangchan wrapped his arm said boy. "they'll love you regardless, okay? don't think overwise."

bangchan kissed the side of jasper's head.

felix placed a plate of pancakes in front of the curly blonde.

"don't worry, baby. they've been looking forward to seeing you. they ask for pictures all the time."

jasper smiled and dug into his breakfast.

bangchan wrapped his arm around felix's waist and kissed his cheek.

"i love you, lix." bangchan kissed him again but on the nose.

"i love you too," felix said before pulling him in for a kiss.

"ewwww!" jasper whined. "i'm trying to eat my pancakes!"

felix giggled. "sorry, baby."
